Thrifted Backpack :)

I've been wanting a small back pack like this for ages, and finally I got one. Yay~ I bought it for only $1 (its thrifted btw) and I am so happy :D

Here's a closer look at the small bag...

The lock is cute :)

There are 3 small pockets on the bottom.

What's inside..

The back view :)

Weeeh! I just love my new bag. I might ditch my sling bag for this one. Haha But Im not so sure yet because the sling is very handy for me because its quite bigger than this one. But one thing is for sure, I love both my bags :)

So what do you think of thrifted items? Are they good or not?

Camera Earrings

An old classmate on mine recently started an online stone on Facebook. She's selling dresses and fashion accessories. I browsed through her page and found these cute pair of camera earrings :)

I love them so much. They are so cute and adorable. This is actually my second pair of earrings, the first was the guitar shaped one. I wore them today and they are quite heavy. I guess its because of the material.

So what do you think of them? Cute or what?

Fashion Nails

I have mentioned in a previous post about my recent purchase which were art nails. I have already tried putting them on my nails and what can I say? I just love how it looks.

Eh, its my first time. I still need to practice putting them.

The feeling while wearing them was weird and new to me. My nails felt heavier and I find it hard to do stuffs like eat, write and type on the keyboard because the nails were slightly long too. But aside from that, I can't complain about the product. Its very beautiful and it made nail art designing so much easier because I no longer have to waste my time on putting nail polishes :)

I am looking forward to buying another set. I might as well buy something where I can put all my art nails. I'm not so sure about this but I think the nails are reusable. Once you use them and remove, you can still use them next time. All you have to do is stock up on glue. Am I right?

Me :) Forgot to rotate them haha

So what do you think?

I Have Accepted the Challenge!

Late last year, I have stumbled upon a blog post which was about a 30 Day Challenge using a sample product kit from Skintactix. So I eagerly went to their website and signed up to take the challenge. Today, the items already arrived and I was so eager to try them.

This day, January 17, 2010 officially marks the start of my 30 Day Challenge. After 30 days, I will be making another post which will be about the whole experience that I had with the product. But of course I will still be posting regular updates about the challenge just to see and compare the results, and for others to know if there has been an effect. I am hoping for a very positive results because as of now, I am already loving the products. Unlike most beauty products, they don't smell like bad. One of the items even smells like orange or citrus.

To Skintactix, thank you so much for sharing this opportunity to me.

Art Nails, Nail Polish + Nail of the Day

Nail arts have been one of my passion ever since they started to become popular. I have been doing my own nail designs minus the props because they are kinda expensive so I just resort to the normal and ordinary nail polishes and brushes. Although the outcome is not that good or pretty as those of the pros but I think its bearable. Haha.

When I went shopping to the mall today, I saw these really cute art nails for sale. They are simply fake nails that are already pre designed with really cute and awesome nail arts, and are called Art Nails. I am familiar with nail arts and nail art designing, but not with Art Nails.

Here's what I bought : 2 sets of Art Nails and 1 Nail Polish.

The one on the left is mine, while the other is for my mother. Like I said, I have not tried yet any fake nails so I am not sure if this will work for me, but I hope so. Here are more shots of the Art Nails.

 Mine :)

 My mother's

Love the floral print. Reminds me of Japan and Cherry Blossoms.

As for the nail polish...

I love its simple color. Its kinda purplish in a way, but since its sparkly it can be mistaken for something that is of nude shade.

 Without Flash
Using macros. One coat only :)

 Forgive my ugly nails.

So there you have it! If the result of the Art Nails are pretty good, then I am surely gonna buy more of them. And I am also bound to try fake eyelashes soon, when I find the guts to try them :D

Feriswel (Unfinished)

Standing here in a familiar place, staring at an old happy memory of you and me…

As I look up at the old Ferris wheel,
I can’t help but feel-
Restless, unhappy, jaded,
While I stand here thinking about our memories which seemed to have faded.

I could still remember that time
Back to days when you were still mine.
How you made me feel butterflies in my stomach
As you gave me those cute little kisses as the Ferris wheel goes up.

***
This is an unfinished poem that I made last 2009. I was feeling terribly down at that time because of a hurtful event that happened, thus the making of this. I'm no poet, but whatever it is that made me write this thing, I knew its love, and pain. I am hoping to finish this sometime soon, when I find myself back again.

P.S.

If you are wondering about the title, its ferris wheel in english. I just used and spelled it that way because of the significance of that word, by which the whole story revolves around.

FACEBOOK WILL END ON MARCH 15th!

Okay, this is something that has been circulating around lately. I'm not sure if this is true or a joke only, I guess I'll have to wait till this happens. But if in case its true, I really won't mind. After years of being dependent on facebook, I have finally made the decision to leave it. I think I did pretty well in the past two years or something. Although I still have a lot of accounts on facebook, I am no longer the facebook monster I used to be years back. And I am happy about the decision to leave facebook because it made my life easier and better, with less hassle and problems. (This is my opinion only)

Here's the article I have read. You be the judge :)

The End is Near.

PALO ALTO, CA –Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook will be shut down in March. Managing the site has become too stressful.

“Facebook has gotten out of control,” said Zuckerberg in a press conference outside his Palo Alto office, “and the stress of managing this company has ruined my life. I need to put an end to all the madness.”

Zuckerberg went on to explain that starting March 15th, users will no longer be able to access their Facebook accounts.

“After March 15th the whole website shuts down,” said Avrat Humarthi, Vice President of Technical Affairs at Facebook. “So if you ever want to see your pictures again, I recommend you take them off the internet. You won’t be able to get them back once Facebook goes out of business.”

Zuckerberg said that the decision to shut down Facebook was difficult, but that he does not think people will be upset.

“I personally don’t think it’s a big deal,” he said in a private phone interview. “And to be honest, I think it’s for the better. Without Facebook, people will have to go outside and make real friends. That’s always a good thing.”

Some Facebook users were furious upon hearing the shocking news.

“What am I going to do without Facebook?” said Denise Bradshaw, a high school student from Indiana. “My life revolves around it. I’m on Facebook at least 10 hours a day. Now what am I going to do with all that free time?”

However, parents across the country have been experiencing a long anticipated sense of relief.

“I’m glad the Facebook nightmare is over,” said Jon Guttari, a single parent from Detroit. “Now my teenager’s face won’t be glued to a computer screen all day. Maybe I can even have a conversation with her.”

Those in the financial circuit are criticizing Zuckerberg for walking away from a multibillion dollar franchise. Facebook is currently ranked as one of the wealthiest businesses in the world, with economists estimating its value at around 7.9 billion.

But Zuckerberg remains unruffled by these accusations. He says he will stand by his decision to give Facebook the axe.

“I don’t care about the money,” said Zuckerberg. “I just want my old life back.”

The Facebook Corporation suggests that users remove all of their personal information from the website before March 15th. After that date, all photos, notes, links, and videos will be permanently erased.

EYE HEART U Shirt

I was super happy to see the sun shining today, because that would mean a warm weather with no rain at all! Yay~ Although I have despised the summer heat last year because it was really really super hot I could feel my skin burning, but now that its raining I wish Ive never been mad about the sun :(

And since the sun is already back, I decided to go to SM to pick up my cellphone from Nokia which I had return to them for repair. I wouldn't have done it today if it rained because I hate going to places when its raining (except when its for playing purposes lol haha)

Thrifted Shirt, Skinny Jeans, Vans Shoes

Today I decided to wear my usual get up, some random shirt, skinny jeans and my favorite vans. It would be okay to wear them in this kind of weather because it will be comfortable for me. The shirt I'm wearing is actually from a thrift shop, I find it very cool (at least for me). The design of the shirt caught my attention and I knew I had to buy it. I think it looks quite decent, right?

Another supposed to be full body shot, but the camera missed out on my shoes (blame it on the timer lol)

A closer look on the shirt print.

My favorite shoes! (as of now)

Before I forget, I mentioned above about the cellphone I had brought to Nokia for repair. I got it already and it seems to be working fine already. I cant be sure yet as I am no longer into texting nowadays, so I am not sure if it is indeed functioning properly. Will have to check in the coming days!
