Day 28 — Your Favorite Drink

I have always loved Iced Tea, and my favorite brand would be Nestea! I have tried other brands but nothing compares to the delicious taste of Nestea Iced Tea. I love the Lemon Iced Tea and I always drink it everyday at school :)

A Day at the Beach

It was so hot so I decided to tag my little sister to the beach. It was only a short trip, and we went home after an hour.

The beach was packed with lots of people so I didnt get the chance to take photos, but nevertheless we enjoyed the one hour stay at the beach.

P.S.
This was located somewhere in Liloan, Cebu. Its what you call FREE Beach haha

A Quick Post: NOTD + Rhinestones from Born Pretty Store!

So yeah I finally got my rhinestones from Born Pretty Store and I got to use them for the first time today :) For the base I used a gold or yellowish nail polish because its almost summer time and yellow is the color of the sun hahaha.

This is not my first time doing nail art but this is my first with the rhinestones. I got no idea what design to do at 2 in the morning so I just decided to do the simple and oh so basic flower design :D

I used the white rhinestone for the center of the flower and red ones for the petals :)

Its pretty simple, but I the outcome :)

5 Ways to Rock the Ponytail this Spring 2011

Love wearing your hair in ponytails? Then here are 5 of the hottest hair style that you can try this Spring of 2011 :)

  1. Soft and Low—The low ponytail looks best when it’s a little loose and romantic.
  2. Sleek and High—This ponytail definitely reminds us of Madonna in her ‘90s-dominatrix day, but it’s also an easily achieved, night-out look.
  3. Slick, Low, and Parted—Adding a defined side part will modernize and add a sporty vibe to a sleek, low ponytail.
  4. The Lived-In Look—Mess things up a bit and embrace the deconstructed pony. Add a sea spray or texturizing gel to damp hair and rough dry.
  5. Keep the Curls—Go for a loose, romantic pony; a side, over-the-shoulder pony; or add volume at the crown and secure it in the middle of the head.
Personally, I like the cool and messed up look though I barely put up my hair in a knot. But I think the curls are pretty too :D

Day 25 — What Do You Want to Get From Luuux

I actually had two choices for these. First is the Diana Mini Camera and the other is the Flip HD Camcorder.

Lomography Diana Mini Camera with Flash (6000 Luuux$)

The sweet and petite Diana Mini uses 35mm film to give you lovely square shots and half-frame photos. It’s a lot of fun! Now it’s even more exciting with the included Diana F+ Flash and the “Shoot Forever” book. Start tinting your pictures with a burst of colour – just slip one of the 12 colour gel filters in the Diana F+ Flash, and you’re on your way to bursting coloursplashes here and there!

Flip Ultra HD Camcorder (9540 Luuux$)
The Flip UltraHD camcorder combines Flip Video's signature shoot-and-share simplicity with the power of vivid, vibrant HD video. With 120 minutes of record time, you'll never miss another minute again. And because of UltraHD's pocket-sized portability, you'll truly be able to capture HD video anytime, anywhere.

Simple to Shoot
- Easy-to-use, pocket-sized HD camcorder
- Start recording within 3 seconds of power-up
- Captures 120 minutes of incredible HD video on 8GB of built-in memory
- Comes with Flip Video rechargeable AA battery pack (recharges when connected to USB)
- Large 2.0 inch anti-glare display to play back and delete videos
- Fast lens - great low or bright light results; 2x digital zoom
- Convenient flip-out USB arm plugs directly into your PC or Mac to launch pre-loaded FlipShare™ software
- Upload video to Facebook™, MySpace™ , YouTube™ and other sharing sites
- HDMI™ output (mini-HDMI connector)
- Records high-quality H.264 videos
- Video: 16:9 widescreen, HD 720p (1280 x 720) at 30 frames per second (fps) progressive scan;
- Silent mode for recording in sensitive situations

Actually, what I really wanted was the Diana Mini. Although I am not good at lomography, photography is something that I like. And the price is quite attainable. But then I thought about the Flip Camcorder and realized that an HD camcorder would be better than a camera who does only one feature. So I guess I will be choosing the camcorder in the end, although its quite expensive :/

In the Mail Today {03-24-2011}

I woke up to a text on my cellphone saying that I have 3 packs waiting for me at the post office. I had no idea what it was because shipping to the Philippines takes about a month or so that's why I could not anymore keep track of what I'm waiting for :D So yeah I immediately went to the post office to see what's waiting for me. When I arrived, I saw 3 small packs with my name. It say's its from Singapore but there's a stamp saying Hongkong Post or something. I dont know why its like that and I did not bother asking.

Looking at the three identical small packages I was wondering what the hell could that be? I even thought they were contact lenses but then I could not think of something or someone who would be the reason for contact lenses to be sent to me. To think the packages were marked "electronics". It was only when I opened them did I know what they were. Do you have any idea? Well, here they are :)

I tried ordering one only but idk why it arrived in three :P Thanks again!

My rhinestones! They were pretty messed up because of the travel I think but I can just sort them out easily :)

I love its packaging, very cute and easy to open too.

I got my rhinestones from BornPrettyStore :P I've been wanting them for ages and finally they are here, not to mention in 3 packs! Haha I never thought I'd get them. Im still waiting for my Hello Kitty Plate though Im not sure if I made it through the orders. Thanks a lot BornPrettyStore ! Now I can style my nail with rhinestones :)

P.S.
I'll post a NOTD soon when I have a free time to deco art my nails :)

Day 24 — Your Favorite Food

I love to eat -a LOT. But I guess it doesn't show in my body. You see, Im quite skinny and petite which makes people think that I don't eat. They just don't know me, but I really really love to eat :D

Here are a few of my favorite foods..

Spaghetti

French Fries

 Leche Flan

This blog post made me hungry now :3

I Won an eBook Copy of Amy Blackwelder's The Shifters of 2040

I love to read. I don't know if most people notice this but my school librarian certainly does. During break time, I am always at the library reading novels, books fictions and stories. At home, I also have a few books and novels that I bought because I wanted to read them.I can read an entire book a day! Those Harry Potter books took only a day or two to read. I think I am a fast reader and can easily comprehend on the story I am reading :P

So anyways, in lieu of St. Patrick's Day, a lot of bloggers have been doing blog giveaways with lots of books as the prizes. The reader in me immediately got hold of the opportunity to win awesome books for free, and so I joined in as much as I could. Although I was a bit sad because most of them are US only, but still there were a few international ones.

One of the contests I joined was The Shifters of 2040 by Amy Blackwelder Giveaway hosted by aobibliophile. I got the email today saying I was one of the three lucky winners! You cant imagine the smile on my face reading the said mail :D I won an eBook Copy of  The Shifters of 2040 by Amy Blackwelder. I can't wait to read it haha. I might do a book review on it after I finish reading :)

Again, thanks to aobibliophile for this chance to read again another book :)

My Princess (Korean Drama)

When I first saw the trailer on ABS-CBN days ago, I instantly remembered Princess Hours which was also another kdrama from the same station. I was reminded because of the word princess and the way the trailer was shown or told, I then concluded that the story is similar in content to Princess Hours. The male leading character Song Seung-Heon also caught my attention because he looks so familiar but I cant seem to place his face till I researched on him and realized that he was the one who played the role of Johnny in Autumn Tale or Endless Love I.

Day 20 - Your Favorite Mascara

This is again another product from Nichido. It is a 2 in 1 Mascara, which features a base mascara and a lengthening. This is my favorite because of its 2 in 1 functionality which is quite handy and useful for me.

On one side of the mascara you will find the Base Mascara with PRO VIT. B5. It is actually colored white, so it is not noticeable when applied but still you can see changes on your lashes.

The other tip of the Mascara has the Lengthening. This is the usual mascara which is black in color. When applied, it makes my lashes look thicker and longer.

Green Bracelet with a Cross

I had this bracelet back in 2009 I think. Im not so sure but I think I got it on a Christmas Party at Uni. It was given to me by a classmate as a gift or something.

I dont wear this because I dont consider it as a jewelry or something. Its sacred for me because of the cross that serves as the charm on this beaded bracelet so I just kept this in my box as a lucky charm :)

P.S. green is one of my favorite color, you should know by now haha

Heart Necklace

I bought this fashion necklace with a heart pendant at a local shop when I went with my parents for their Dentist Appointment at the Mall. I was actually looking for earrings because I was planning to have a second piercing. So I went to ask my mother's permission and she said NO :( Although I really wanted to have one, its not really something I wish to do. Maybe just because I see most people with second piercings that's why I thought of getting one too :D

 The heart pendant :3

Anyways, I did not regret following my mother. Instead I got myself this cute necklace! Its quite pretty and cute for me, although its fashion only, but still I like it :)

I Won a Neon Glitter Cocktail Ring from Hollyrocks!

I opened my email today and read one of the most beautiful message I ever received! Haha guess what? I won the Springtime Giveaway hosted by Hollyrocks. Its actually my first win out of the thousands that I joined in and I am super extra happy about it :) Anyways, here was the email sent to me by Holly from Hollyrocks.

Now how cool is that?

And for the prize, I got to choose one of these cute and colorful Neon Glitter Cocktail Rings. The colors are all pretty and it reminds me of candies. I was torn between my favorite colors (pink, gree or purple) but then I decided to go for purple~

I can't wait for my purple ring to arrive :D Once again a big thank you to Holly from Hollyrocks for this awesome giveaway :)

Day 17 — Fashion Pieces That's On Your To-Buy List

I've been wanting and planning to buy clothes and other items online but can't push through with it because I haven't set up my PayPal account yet. But I have been keeping my eyes on these stuffs online for like months already lol. Anyone care to sponsor me? Haha

My Fashion Wish List

First on the list would be this Heart Tights. I've been wanting this since last year and was not able to find one here. Then some online friends told me I can find one on the ASOS site, and sure enough I found this lovely piece. This Gypsy Sheer Heart Tights costs £7.00 and Im starting to save for these :)

Also, I want a new pair of doll shoes. I have been thinking about buying one from Vans but then since I will soon be working, I realized that maybe I should buy something that I can use at work. I have been on ASOS' site for like forever and I am loving their items, specially this cute doll shoes. I would really buy this ASOS Dandy Canvas Ballet Shoes, but I think £20.00 is too much for my pocket :/

Lastly, I would like to purchase a necklace. Not those gold and real ones, but a fashion necklace will do. I want a natural and cool chic look and this Angie Gooderham Heart Pendant Necklace is just the perfect thing! Its now only £20.00, but still expensive :D

Dedicated to the one I'll always love..

The one who really messed me up </3
