Taking Advantage of Sales

These stuffs were bought last month, towards the end of December when shopping malls were having this really huge sales. I got hold of 3 full sized products which were really huge but you'll get the shock of your life if you'll learn how much each products cost =P

So I bought three products, a body wash, a milk lotion and a conditioner. Even if I use these products, they still might last more than a month because they are of big sizes, probably the biggest size of products I ever own :)

So first up is this JASON Tea Tree Melaleuca Body Wash. To be honest I'm not fond of body wash. I find using them a hassle and tiring, but I know that its sometimes nice to use them especially if you plan to scrub your body as well. There were a lot of choices too for this body wash. I remember there was an apricot one but I opted for a Tea Tree one because it smells really nice. And the price? Only Php50.00 ($1.13) for a 900mL product =) I was supposed to buy another bottle but I figure that I can use my money on another item coz I don't really need a lot of this hehe.

And then I was right on my decision about not buying a second bottle of body wash because I saw this Skin Milk Body lotion on the next stand. It also costs Php50.00 ($1.13) for a 650mL bottle. And I love how it says its made of real milk proteins @_^. I don't know what that means but knowing that there will be milk proteins on your skin sounds like a good thing :D

And lastly is this Vanart Creme Rinse. The label on the stand says its a shampoo that's why I grabbed it. Its on sale for only Php55.00 ($1.24). But then my brother kept on complaining how come the shampoo is not working. And I was like maybe you've got the wrong product. And when I tried it I was like, yeah its not a shampoo. So I read the description on the back and to my surprised I found out that its a conditioner. Lol why did they label it as shampoo. >_< Oh well, I still dont mind paying that cheap for a large bottle of conditioner. Although it feels a little greasy but I guess most conditioners are like that? Haha

Overall I am really happy with what I got. I only bought 3 products but they are very much worth a lot =)

No Lens Hello Kitty Style Glasses from Born Pretty Store

One of the most common collectibles we girls like to have is Hello Kitty. From Fashion to beauty to accessories, appliances and gadgets, we have to admit that Hello Kitty has indeed invaded our lives purely.

As a girl, I really love to have anything that has Hello Kitty on it. And after seeing Vyvy's Hello Kitty inspired glasses, I really wanted to own a pair too. Sadly, I find them too expensive for an accessory so I just gave up on them. I just console myself by thinking that they probably won't suit me. A few days after, I was browsing through my favorite online shop, Born Pretty Store to see if they have new items uploaded and just find out the greatest shock of my life [^-^] hahaha.

Well guess what? THEY ARE NOW SELLING THESE HELLO KITTY GLASSES! They must have read my mind, lol. But really I wasn't expecting to find them there. And they don't have just one, not two, but 9 different styles to choose from. O_O It just made choosing so damn hard. I don't know which one to get, I literally want them all >_O

If you want to know how they look like, here are photos of the glasses I'm dying to have.

Having 9 choices is really hard, specially if they are all equally wonderful. I am leaning towards getting a white one because I find it simple and pretty, but the black ones are also adorable. Maybe I'll just have a toss coin to make the decision easier :p
I know you'll love these glasses, and you'll even love it because it only costs $4.84. Super duper cheap, and its even FREE SHIPPING :) I know you're all worried about the quality and all, but I always buy from them and even though they have this really cheap products, I truly trust them. So I am definitely going to buy me pair of glasses soon. I jsut have to decide whether I am going to get a white or black one. Hmmm I wonder which suits me best.

If ever you buy from Born Pretty Store, don't forget to use the coupon code JELL73 to avail of a 10% discount on your orders =)

Review: Heated Eyelash Curler from Color Lens World

Remember the gifts that I received from Marco and Lisa of Color Lens World last month? Well, I have been using the Heated Eyelash Curler everyday, and I seem to be better at it (or so I think? Lol). And so today I will share to you an honest review of the product.

Here's a photo of the product on the website~

And here's a comparison photo on the site. You can clearly see and notice the difference ^_^

As you can see, the product I got is very similar to the photo on the site. It came safely wrapped in bubble wrap to keep it safe~ It was also in its original packaging so I can vouch that its really a brand new product that you'll get when you buy from them.

Its not that big, just enough for you to hold it on your hands. Its also light weight. It runs on 2 AA batteries which you have to buy separately as they're not included in the product. Basing on its appearance I can say that it is of good quality. Its made of plastic but its not like those cheap ones.

Product Description
~Dedicated to curl side lashes and also bottom eyelashes
~Can curl the hardly reachable parts of the lashes
~Keep long lasting
~Japan Design

Instructions
  1.     Slide off the battery cover and insert 2AAA batteries (battery not included).
  2.     Push On/Off button up to turn on.
  3.     The green light will illuminate signalling that its already turned on.
  4.     Red silicon pad changes in color around 10-15 seconds when the curler is ready for use.
  5.     Place eyelashes on silicon pad. Push slide lever upward until silicon pad stops.
  6.     Hold on eyelashes for 10-15 seconds.
  7.     Release and repeat on the other eyelash until desired look is achieved .
  8.     After using, slide On/off button downward.
  9.     The green light will go off, meaning the curler is already turned off.
Up close, this is how it looks like. The light green one is the lever that you have to push, while the red one is the silicon pad that heats the eyelashes. Its really very simple and easy to use. I haven't tried burning myself yet but sometimes when I place it too close to my skin I can feel the heat, so you still have to be very careful when using this.

To start with, here is a photo of my eyelashes before the process. Although my lashes are long and quite noticeable, they are just plain straight, stiff and lifeless. In this photo I didn't have any make up on, just my bare and naked eyelashes :D

And after following the instructions that was also written at the back of the packaging, here's the result :) This was only after one heating, but you can already see the results. My lashes were instantly curled, unlike the previous photo wherein they were just straight. In this photo my lashes have curled upwards which is better. And oh, I just curled the other half of my lashes here which explains why the other end is still straight =P You can also compare my lashes here, the one on the outer side is uncurled while the ones on the inner side are curled.

In this photo the outer lashes are curled quite  bit, but not as nice as the inner ones because I think I held the curler in the wrong angle. I was thinking that if I move it further I might burn myself haha. I still have to practice more because I am still a noobie when it comes to stuffs like this.

And from below, you can also see that my lashes are indeed curled. They are no longer plain straight lashes, but beautiful curled ones :) Hurray!

My Review

I used to rely on my mascara to curl my lashes a bit because I dislike the manual curlers. For me, I don't find them working so I skip them. But with this heated eyelash curler, I can curl my lashes in just seconds! I really love how its just so simple to use, even a first timer like me was able to get the hang of it immediately.

This heated eyelash curler is available at Color Lens World for only $4.99. And you don't have to worry about paying extra charges because its FREE SHIPPING :) Interested? Buy it online HERE.

I know this may not be the cheapest that you can find but why sacrifice quality for a cheaper price? I absolutely recommend to you this online shop because not only are they trustworthy but they are also very friendly. I think communication between buyers and sellers is the best customer service there is.

Thanks for reading my review today and I hope you find it helpful. Hopefully I'll have the energy to blog more, but without the camera in my hands I don't think I can do it hahaha. But still, I have my cellphone camera with me so maybe I can still blog. Oh and by the way, its almost the third Sunday of January.. And you know what that means? Its Sinulog Festival here in Cebu already. Yey.

Kawaiiness for New Year

Good morning girls :) Today I just want to show to you two things that I got for New Year. Actually these aren't mine, these are my little sister's. But since she's still two young, lets just give it to big sister okay? HAHA.

I know most of you got a lot of stuffs during the holidays, but me I only got a few. Prolly because I already begged for money from parents and relatives  so that I can buy a new mobile phone. Also, every time we go shopping, I always buy something for me (with the parents paying of course), so yeah its forgivable that I have a few stuffs.

Okay so here are two of the things I got from my little sister's presents =) Its a cute pink owl earrings and a mirror-and-comb something.

That girl could be Japanese because she's wearing a kimono. Cute right? I really love how these are pink because pink is really cute to look at =)

The design has been damaged already. I have a feeling my sister already played with this one lol. But still its adorable, so no harm done.

The pink comb is also very cute :3 To use, you just have to pull it from the side of the mirror and voilah~ its there ready to use.

I also got a pair of fashion earrings. These are owls btw, pink owls. And they have these really huge black eyes staring O_O

*sigh* Now looking at these stuffs, I am missing my little sister. They are away right now and I miss having someone to play with. I promise when she gets back I'll let her have my make up because she likes to play with them. And I wont get mad if she breaks them =P

Happy New Year~ Plus my NOTD

Happy New Year! Hehe. This post was supposed to be up yesterday, but I didn't why it didn't lol so I am just going to be late with the greeting~

In this post I am going to show to you my nails. I am supposed to do nail art, but you know what happens when you've got so many ideas in your mind that they start to clog up your brain and you end up with nothing? u_u Hoho that's exactly what happened. But I am not saying that my nails are effortless, its just it wasn't suppose to be this simple and easy :D

As you can see, I had black nail polish on. And to add a little extra bit I had on a gray french tip. It really does look simple, but I also find it classy and elegant. I love the silver on the black. Its kinda Gothic which is my style, but at the same time its also very clean to look at.

Excuse the texture.. I think I got it ran over something while sleeping LOL ^_O I know black isn't something you would usually see on New year, but hey I had in silver too so I guess that would be okay-ish :p

I don't have any New Year's resolution because I can't be bothered to enumerate this and that and then end up not doing it. I know myself and I am such a lazy person >:D HAHA. But I am going to try my best to become a better person this year.
