Dearly Beloved, Are You Listening?

Lately I've been into DIY, making tees and tanks and shorts for summer. Haha. Its really hard though, since I cant sew so I just manually stitch the fabrics. But I really enjoy making my own clothes out of those old wardrobe that my mum is about to throw out. I basically went over those bags of old clothing that she kept.

Anyways today let me show to you two of my most fave DIY outfits. The first is my L ) V E Tee, which is of course in reference to one of my fave bands Angels and Airwaves. You can see me wearing it on the photo abouve :) Its one of the easiest ways to make a shirt. All you need is a blank piece of tee and then spray/paint the design you want. And you're done!

The second item I made is this distressed cut-off shorts. Actually this was a pair of baggy, old fashion bootleg jeans owned by my mother way back. I dont think it fits her anymore so I cut it and made this.

Its my first time to distress a pair of jean shorts so I'm still trying to figure out the best way how to do it, and how to make some designs on it. But overall I really loved the result and it has become my favorite pair of shorts already.

I didnt cut it too short by the way because I'm not used to showing that much skin. So the length would definitely have to depend on your preference.

And to finish my outfit, I got hold of my trusty vans sneakers. Gotta love Vans :) I think I had this for two years already and I am not going to replace it anytime soon since it still fits me haha. And also because I really like the doodle design on this. I think its unique as I havent seen anybody in my country wearing this? HAHA lol but seriously I think they dont sell it here. I got this on Journeys :P

Hold on Till May

Time flies by so fast. And before I knew it, April is over. May is here. I am now left with more or less a month or two of summer and then the rainy season will take over. 

I am trying to focus and put together posts, but until then, here's a peek of what has been happening to my life via my instagram posts :)

Also, I might be moving to Australia. Soon? Im not so sure but I am hoping it will push through. There's so much paper works to do and stuff but I am excited. I am really crossing my fingers on this. Here's to hoping :)

Super Junior CD

Finally blogger is back :3 Been down for days, or is it just my ISP? Lol anyways I missed all of you guys, and I hoped you haven't forgotten about me and my blog :)

Anyways I've got something to show to you.. Guess what? Taadah~ Super Junior CD :) Hehe I got it for free from LG Philippines.

So to start with, I am not really a kpop fan, addict or what. But don't get me wrong because I freaking love anything korean, from make up, cosmetics, actors, actress, kdramas and movies. I do listen to their music, and of course Sandara from 2NE1 used to be an actress here in the Philippines. But I am just not that hyped when it comes to kpop. But I do admit being a fanatic when it comes to dramas and movies O_< Haha.

At first I thought its just a CD. I have never bought an original CD (before maybe). But seriously, who buys CD nowadays when everything can be downloaded? And besides, this is the age of MP3 Players, ipod and all so yeah, I dont see the point in buying CDs at all. But I am happy to receive this CD for free, this is my first and I will definitely treasure it.

Aside from the CD, there's also a photo book or something included. The book has photos of all the members of Sup[er Junior, and I do not know anybody hahahaha shame :3 But as I browsed through, I felt familiar with the names as I have read about them from Facebook statuses of friends.

So enjoy the photo guys (though its not that high in quality).

And oh the CD, this is the one that I got. I dont know from what album it is because like I said I dont know anything about them haha.

Nice ehh? I hope I'll be able to get more free CDs in the future because I love looking at them :)

Hello Kitty Visa Card MP3 Player

Finally! I now have a Visa Card :D And its Hello Kitty ^___^ Haha jokes. Nah, seriously.. It really does look like a visa card right? Yep. Or at least to me :)

Taadah~ Hehe The new Hello Kitty Platinum Plus VISA Credit Card :p Hahaha. Kidding aside, its my new MP3 player *_* I was really so happy when I finally received it. Its really super super super cool and cute and kawaii ^^

Its only 2GB but nah, doesn't really matter because its already big for just a few music. And besides, I listen to some songs on repeat so yeah, 2GB is more than enough.

From afar, it really looks like a card because its really slim. But up close you'll see that its a music player after all.

Here you can see the control buttons. There are 4 small buttons, 2 for volume/forward or backward, 1 for pause, play and on/off and the other one is for reset.

And on this side you can see the slot for the headphone. There's also a small hole for accessories/charms on the side :)

The player actually came with a headphone, but ear buds hurt my ears after hours of listening so I bought another one. It's a clip on earphones and it doesn't hurt my ears. I would have preferred a Hello Kitty earphone too, but since I couldn't find one I just settled for this. I used to have one but it was already dead a year ago :|

I also bought a pink strap so that I can hang it like a necklace or an accessory. Its also more convenient because I can use it at ease anytime I want to listen to music.

I bought this one at ebay for a little over $10. I usually don't buy stuffs like this for such a big amount because I find it a waste but since it was Christmas when I purchased this, I figured it would be okay to rewards myself sometimes :D

Blink 182 - After Midnight [Music Video + Lyrics]

Its almost 3:00 AM now and I still can't fall asleep. I've been listening to Blink 182's  new song entitled After Midnight. So might as well share the music to you guys :) Yeah I know how this could be a little off my usual posts but the song is just so beautiful I feel like sharing it haha. 

In case you didn't know, Blink 182 has long disbanded, so you can just imagine the smile on my face upon knowing that they are together again (at least for now) and will be releasing a new album soon. From a huge fan's perspective, this is just so freaking awesome ^_^ Really I can't wait for the album to be released. But for the mean time, here's their studio version of the song After Midnight. I hope you'll love it as much as I do <3

List of Concerts in the Philippines for 2011

Okay, I am still thrilled to know that a lot of foreign bands and artists are coming over to the Philippines to do a concert. Its not like I can afford any of them but who knows? I might end up with tickets you know. Haha. I really really love to go to concerts and gigs because I am a music lover since I was young. I prefer loud music most of times because I like to play lead vocals (even though I don't have that voice) and scream all the way out.

I am a bit saddened because only Bruno Mars will be doing a concert here in Cebu (that's where I live) and the rest will be in Manila. Why does it always have to be there? Arrgh :(

My new MP3 Player

Finally, I have a new MP3 Player that I can use, specially when I'm traveling. I love to listen to music and this will surely be of great use!

I didn't pay a single amount for this one :) Yes I got it for free, or as a reward rather. Its from Super Metro Mandaue's Reward Card and I begged my mother to claim this since she has accumulated a lot of points already. After days of begging and drama she finally gave in and that's how I got this!

And because I also would want to redeem items on my own, I also got for myself my own Reward Card from Super Metro. It only costs Php10 since its only a temporary one. After 3 months, it should be permanent and a fee of Php140 will be asked. Oh well, I have to use my card from now on so that I will get the points. But I doubt if I will reach a lot of points since I only shop for something below Php1000. I might as well bring this when my father shops for clothes >:))

Metro has a lot of other rewards up for grabs. You better start saving points now if you want to redeem pretty cool items from them :)

All I want for Christmas

Is THIS :) Maybe not exactly this, but I want a pink one. A purple would be better, but I don't think its readily available. It could be too expensive too, so I'd just settle for a pink one. Its not that much coz I saw one already haha. I don't know why but after watching some chic on youtube playing and singing the guitar I suddenly felt the urge to have my own and learn how to play it. I mean really play it. I have these dreams of me singing and playing the guitar even though I don't know how to sing :D

I'm really really crossing my fingers till I get this. Pleaseeee.
