REVIEW: Mise En Scene Smooth and Silky Moisture Treatment

The weather has been so cold lately, I can definitely say its December. I've also been MIA because I've been feeling under the weather but now I'm back with another review. This has been sitting in my drafts for over a year, as I have had this product for a while but I have been using it for the last couple of days and so I am now here with a review.

This is a Korean product from a brand called Mise En Scene. I've heard of this brand already so when I saw this in Myeongdong, I instantly bought it because I knew it was a good brand. This particular product is called Mise En Scene Smooth & Silky Moisture Hair Treatment.

Review: Luxe Organix Premium Keratin 10-in-1 Hair Elixir

My hair hasn't been healthy for the past few months, and I blame it on my constant need to dye and color and bleach my hair every month, if I could. I've also tried a lot of hair products to at least make it look healthy for a day, but I don't know. Maybe the only way to have healthy hair again is to wait for new virgin hair to grow and not abuse it, again.

Anyways today I will be reviewing this hair keratin from Luxe Organix. Its called the Premium Keratin 10-in-1 Hair Elixir. Such a long name for a product huh. I really thought this was liquid of some sort, like those oil based hair polish, but when I tried it, I was shocked to see its actually sort of like a moisturiser, or a lotion - but for the hair. Is it effective? Read more to find out!

Natural Wigs and Hair Extentions from Uniwigs

As a woman, we consider our hair as our crown. Personally, I take pride in my hair, although it hasn't been the best lately, but I do love having different hairstyles and hair color every once in a while. As someone who likes to change hair color every month, I realize that this is actually possible with the help of wigs! Yup, new hairstyle and hair color changes your look, and with wigs, you wouldn't have to worry about changing your look everyday.

While browsing online looking for style and color ideas, I cam upon Uniwigs - an online shop with a lot of wigs for sale. I was amazed with the collection that they have online, wigs of different colors, lengths and styles.

I've always wanted to have long hair, but between coloring and bleaching, I just couldn't get my hair to grow longer without looking so unhealthy. Uniwigs does sell a variety of different wigs, including natural wigs, and when I checked out their selection, I instantly fell in love with these long hair styles! Both wigs will give me the long hair I've always wanted, and I can have it in either black or blonde color too.

Now if wigs aren't your thing, you can also try out hair extensions. Uniwigs does have a lot of options for you to choose from, and they are definitely the best with good quality. If you want to spice up your look instantly, then a pony tail extension will be a good choice.

These are just some of my ultimate favorites from Uniwigs, but you can definitely find more styles and color on their online shop. With a wig or a hair extension, you can already change how you look in less than a minute. Be trendy with your hair and shop at Uniwigs. Plus, they're also offering Free International Shipping for orders over $129!

Hair Care Haul and New Hair Color

Hi everyone! Today I'll be sharing my most recent purchases from Watsons which mainly focuses on hair care. I recently dyed my hair pink/red with pink highlights and its been a week, however I think the color is fading fast because of the hair products that I'm using. So today I went to Watsons and got myself some shampoo and conditioner for colored hair. I hope it works well for me so that the color can last for a bit longer as this hair was a bit expensive to have haha.

Here's a photo of my hair after the salon treatment, and a slow-mo video taken by the hair dresser. it looks really pretty here and I plan to add some purple shades to my hair maybe next month.

Pink with Pink Highlights

Going back to my purchases, here's a sneak peek of what I got. It was also a good time since Watsons was having a sale. I was hesitant at first to be out and about during a mall sale because of Covid but I made sure I was distancing myself from others, and I went home immediately after the purchase.

The first one would be this bottle of Tresemme Color Radiance Shampoo. This was recommended by the hair dresser so I was glad to see it at Watsons. To be honest, I am a bit hesitant about this brand as I was able to buy a shampoo from them before and it gave me dandruff. It was a different variant though, not this one, so I really hope this works for me. I was torn between this and the one from Palmolive, but Tresemme was on Buy 1 Get 1 deal, and I'm cheap so..

Tresemme Color Radiance Shampoo 300mL

I was looking for a conditioner from Luxe Organix as I am loving their brand, however I couldn't find anything for color treated hair. I saw this one bottle from Pantene on my way to the cashier and since I've tried Pantene before and their 3 Minute Miracle variants are also good, I decided to go for this conditioner instead.

Now I know this isn't for the hair but I've been trying to lighten my skin a bit and when I saw that this was on sale, I immediately grabbed one big bottle of A Bonne Whitening Lotion. I've been using their salt spa (on and off because I'm lazy haha) and I really like how it makes the skin smooth after, so I have high hopes for this lotion. I'll post a review next month to see if it is worth it.

And there you have it! It feels good to go and shop at Watsons again as I haven't been there for a while due to Covid and quarantine. I really wish things will go back to how it was before so that we can all enjoy our lives again :(

Keep safe everyone!

Naturals by Watson's: Argan Oil Hair Care Products

NOTE: This isnt a full review, but more of a first impression. Will update this post after a few weeks to see if there are any notable changes and to also give a final conclusion about the product.

Finally completed my hair care set today. I havent been coloring my hair for months now and I'm so proud of being able to control myself haha. Now I'm all about hair care and making sure that it is fixed before its too late. Ive been hearing a lot of good things about Argan Oil for tha hair and decided to finally buy a set of hair care products to see if it will be better.

I found these product from my local Watson's. From the line Naturals by Watson's, I bought the Argan Oil variant for the Shampoo, Hair Mask and Conditioner. All three products were on sale so I did save a few

L-R: Argan Oil Shampoo Php 159, Argan Oil Hair Mask Php 149, Argan Oil Conditioner Php 149

This is the product that I bought first, so I have been using it for a week or two maybe. It comes in a decent size of 490 ml which is okay for its price point. It really smells good and after effect is also good for me so far. I have been suffering with frizzy hair after arriving at work due to the wind on my travel time but lately I find my hair easier to manage even with the wind blowing. It makes my hair softer and easier to comb as well.

I was hesitant to buy this product because its just a hair mask and I already have a conditioner but decided to just buy it altogether because sale haha. This is set to be used a few times per week only, not daily so maybe its a treatment of some sort. This bottle just contains 200 ml, which is too little for me but if it inst used daily then I guess it should be fine. Smell is also good, and just like the shampoo my hair felt rough after washing with water. When my hair dried properly, my hair felt a bit smooth and soft to touch which is a good thing. Hopefully it will really treat my hair and fix the damage coloring for years has done.

I only started using this shampoo today and the smell is good. It comes in a big sized pump bottle, having 490 ml of product which isn't bad considering the cost. It bubbles easily too, but after washing away I feel like my hair is coarse to touch. I've seen similar after effects to other shampoo brands so it doesn't really bother me.

This is a pic of my hair today, which I will put for reference to see how my hair is before using the item. Its not as bad as before as I already cut my hair but it still feels dry and damaged to me. I've been touching my hair and it does feel soft at times but you can still feel the coarse texture and I'm really hoping these products will do wonders for me.

August Haul: Hair Protect Products

I have been saving for months now and I try as much as I can to avoid buying anything not really important (i.e. korean products haha) but this time, I felt like I needed to do this because I haven't been taking care of my hair lately.

I used to dye my hair every month, and the ends are really gross. I have been trimming it lately and I dont reckon I've dyed it this year (I am so proud of myself!). I did get a few hair cuts this year and the length is nowhere near as to how it was before. I did get a rebond from a Korean Salon a month ago and thats it so far. So today I did some shopping and bought a few stuff that I am interested to use to see if it will sort of help fix my hair, or at least make it look healthy again.

L-R: Vitress Hair Polish Sun Protect, Pantene PRO-V Summer Rescue Shampoo, Pantene PRO-V Summer Rescue 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner

I have used Vitress before but its the other hair product, the oily one. I think this one is the cream type. There were lots of variant for this item but I chose the sun protect one mainly because I go to work daily at noon and that's when the sun is shining the most so I am hoping this will act as a sunblock, only this time its for my hair.

When the 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner came out, there was a lot of hype about it being very good. I did try it before but never really got the chance to use it for a long time. This time, its the Summer Rescue variant as well and because I'm looking for sun protection this time, this will really be a good match with the shampoo I picked up as well.

I've tried Pantene shampoo before, but I have a habit of changing from one brand to another (damn adverts on TV). Im not so sure if this is a new product but the Summer Rescue variant caught my attention so I picked it up. Maybe this is for those sun damaged hair due to the sun and the beach? I am excited to test this one out and see if it will make any difference. Im currently using Dove (shampoo) and I dont think its working as my hair feels dry and coarse so I am really hoping for the best.

To be honest, I'm not really expecting my hair to go back to how shiny and healthy it was from way back high-school (hello long black hair lol) but at least I would love to lose the split ends as well as make my hair look healthy again. My hair tends to be soooo dry so I am hoping to revive it before I lose my hair haha. Here's to hoping then. Product reviews soon!

Watsons Haul

Last Wednesday my mother and I went to Watsons to buy a hot oil treatment something for her hair. I don't know how it happened really but I just saw her pick up a basket, and the next thing I knew, there were already a lot inside. Haha and of course I wouldn't just let her do the picking of items so I chose some for myself too. Unfortunately her items were a lot compared to mine, but duh its okay coz she paid for my stuffs :p Anyways here's what we bought.

Quite a lot, but only 4 items are mine ^_~

As I've said, she was looking for some hot oil blah for her hair. She asked the sales lady about it but unfortunately she doesn't know about it too, so we ended up racking the hair section for what she wants. After looking for something we don't know she finally saw this. I have no idea about this product as I haven't tried this before, but nevertheless we decided to buy it so we can try it out. Plus, they had it on promotion as Buy 1 Get 1 Free, so its just so okay ;)

Watsons Repairing Treatment Wax in Honey and Conditioning Treatment Wax in Avocado Extract, $4.35 (Php 189.00)

My mother also bought hand soap for reasons I don't know. All I know is that she had been eying this item the moment we entered the store. Haha it was also on promotion, still at Buy 1 Get 1 Free.

Watsons Refreshing Hand Soap in Green Tea and Apple Extracts and Ginger and White Tea Extracts, $2.28 (Php 99.00)

This Milk Essence Baby Milk Body Soap was the last thing that we bought. We had no choice but to buy it so that we can avail of the free pouch/wallet that they are offering. My mother bought this one for my little sister. Obviously its a baby's soap but I'm gonna use it too. Lol

Milk Essence Baby Milk Body Soap, $3.43 (Php 149.00)

My mother also purchased this spray for my brother. I am not familiar with this brand because I haven't heard of it yet. I also forgot the price of this product :P

Black Water Men's Spray

While looking at the beauty products section she remembered that she already finished her Garnier Foundation so she went looking for a replacement. She then chose this Careline Oil Control Face Powder, but ended up regretting that she bought this because when she used it at home she didn't like it at all. What a complete waste of money because I wont be using it too :( I think this was on a bargain too.

Careline Oil Control Face Powder, $2.30 (Php 100.00)

Remember the pouch/wallet I mentioned above that we got for free? Aside from reaching a certain amount of purchase, another requirement was that we have to buy one of their "qualifier" products. So from the list we chose to include in our purchase this Gluta-C Face and Body Soap. It was also on sale because when you buy two bars of soap you can save $0.56 or Php 24.50. Also, my father loves this soap very much so yeah this one's going to be a gift for him haha.

Gluta-C Face and Body Soap, $4.35 (Php 189.00) for two bars of soap

And then finally, my purchases (but my mother paid for it). I only grabbed a few because I didn't get the chance to wander around the shop because I was looking out for my baby sister who's just so !@#$%^. But even though I only got 4 items for myself, its still okay because I got 2 of the items I have been wanting to buy for so long ;)

First up is this Raven Hair Spray. I have been wanting a hair spray for ages because I love to curl my hair using a flat iron, but then the curls really don't stay up that much. Stupid hair why does it have to be so damn straight x_o. So now that I have a hair spray, I'm really hoping that this will solve my problem.

Raven Hair Spray, $1.66 (Php 72.00)

After hearing good reviews about the facial scrub from St. Ives, I knew I have to get my hands on it. So finally my chance was here thanks to my mother who paid for this St. Ives Apricot Scrub. I only bought the small tube as I wanted to test it out first.

St. Ives Apricot Scrub, $1.50 (Php 65.00)

And finally, I grabbed two super duper cheap nail polishes on the rack just because I love how they look :D The packaging is so cute, and the colors are so pastel-ish which reminds me of autumn. It has been marked as 50% off so I bought two. And I also find the names of this nail polishes very funny and amusing, though corny at times.

Mwah! Nail Polish in Piolo Pastel and Orlando Blue, $0.17 (Php 7.50) each

love the shades <3

And that concludes my first ever Watsons haul. Im gonna do reviews on some of the items, but please feel free to comment and request for a review on a product that you want to know more about. Thanks for reading =)
