In the Mail Today Plus a Coming Giveaway

Hey July! Time flies by so fast and now we are halfway already. Just like this package that I received yesterday which was like the fastest international shipping ever (2 weeks!!~). I wasn't expecting it yet so it came as a surprise. Actually the whole thing was a surprise for me, so here it goes.

Okay so as Ive said, this came in super fast.. And super pink too! Haha.I didnt know USPS has pink packaging for packages. Lol. Cute right?

The mail was from The Skin Regime. I got an email from Dana of TheSkinRegime.com asking if I wanted to try the product, and of course I said yes. For the love of beauty, Id say yes, yes and yes.

As you can see, inside was a book called The Skin Regime: Boot Camp for Beautiful Skin, a booklet (or guide paper) and a sample size of the product called 1-4-all Peel.

And so now I am going to start using the product to see the results, and read the book as well. I will be doing a review on the product too, so that you guys can also see if it works. And as stated above, I will be doing a giveaway too! The winner will win the above items, which includes the book, the guide and a sample of the product. It will be an international giveaway. Details will be posted in my next blog post which will be up in a little while. I hope you guys will support and join my mini giveaway (it has been awhile since I last had one.)

I was really excited when I learned that I have new packages waiting for me. I was thinking that its my order from Born Pretty Store, but when I saw that its not I died a little inside. But then again when I saw the packages I smiled again because I have been waiting for these items to come too. Haha, never mind the one that I truly want.

My first package was from the lovely Jeneara. I won a brand new pair of circle lenses from her blog giveaway. This is my first time to see or hear about red lenses because the usual ones are pink, violet, blue etc.. But then it made sense because she is into cosplaying. And I'm just so happy to win this lens because I also get to try a bit about cosplay and stuffs :3

The second package was something I totally forgot because it has been more than a month since I won and still haven't received my prize. This is a necklace that I won from yet another giveaway by Mary Rebecca.

I actually won a GC which I used to bu something from the shop, and its just so cute in person ^_^

And the last one is my favorite because its the gift Marco from Color Lens World sent me :) Can you believe it came all the way from Hongkong in just 10 days? That's already super fast considering our stupid mailing system here. And look at all those stamps, yay I'm so happy because I have a few stamps to ad to my small collection.

Marco said he sent me an eyelash curler and something to clean the face. I am still going to test these items out and will surely let you guys know about it.

And now that the Christmas Holiday is about to start, I am quite happy already because I am no longer expecting something in the mail except for the Born Pretty Store order. I want them to come before Christmas because I don't think I can be happy without my packages haha. But if ever they don't come before, then I dont mind having them as a late Christmas present :)

I love books, got two new ones =)

I have always been a book work. I love reading books, whether thick or thin ones, regardless of the genre for as long as the story captivates my liking. And since I am no longer in school, I can't read books that much since I cant spend money on them (I'm broke like that), and I have already read my little book collection at home a hundred times. That's why I love to join book giveaways on many blogs so that I'll still be able to read books if I win :)

Up to date, I think I've won maybe more or less 10 books, both paperback and e-books. As for the paperback, I have received only four books at the moment though I'm pretty much sure that I won more than 4 paperback copies :|

Anyways back to the books, I got two lovelies last week and this week. The first one was a copy of  Sweet Valley High Confidential by Francine Pascal, which was delivered straight to my house (which is not common for packages here in the Philippines, unless of course its the more expensive couriers). I was shocked to receive it because I couldn't remember winning it. I even searched through my e-mail to check where it could be but I didn't find anything. What made the book even more special was that it had a written note saying: Free Proof Copy - Not for Sale or Quotation. Hmmm I must have gotten it for free indeed. Haha I'm not bothered whether I won it or not, I'm just happy to have a copy. I could still remember how exciting the whole series was for me way back then. I used to sneak in to my cousin's house just to read SVH books :P

I have finished reading this book already, and I might review it. I was really really mad at Jessica while reading this book, and also to Todd. I hate both of them. I can relate with this book because of the hatred that Elizabeth is feeling. Okay enough about the book, review will be in another post so stay tuned :)

As for the second book, its a copy of Settling by Shelley Workinger. I have won this one last week, and after 7 days I got the book. Now that's super fast shipping, considering the author sent this via a cheaper courier only. Haha

I've started reading the book, and I'm on chapter six (page 51). So far, I am loving the story. I've read in blogs about the previous book called Solid, saying how much good it was. Sadly I don't have a copy of that previous story, but because of what people are saying about it I pretty much have an idea already. After I read this I will do a review on it too, so watch for it too :)

P.S. if you know any blog who's having an international book giveaway, please let me. I would really love to win books because I super love reading and I wouldn't mind a life without a computer, as long as I have a huge library of books. Also, if there are any authors out there who would want me to review their books, just let me know. Although I would prefer paperback copies because it would be easy and fast to read them, I wouldn't mind e-books too :) Thanks!

Beauties in my mail

Hey guys! Yez so I've been like not posting for a few days not because I'm busy but its just that I can't find any motivation to finish a post haha, and I have a lot of drafts waiting to be finished lol. So anyways today I'll just show you what came in the mail last Friday :) There were 4 packages in all, 3 international and 1 local.

First up are the international packages that I received, two of which were from my sponsors KKcenterhk and DBeautyShop and the other one was something I bought from Born Pretty Store. Here's a photo of the packages.

What to Expect...

Okay since blogger was down the last few days, I will only be able to post things today. So first, I'd like to show you what came today :D

There are 4 packages... First is my Chic Reward (a gift for my mother, yeah its belated), my make up brushes from BIZ, my contact lens from iwantcute.com and a book :) I will be doing a post on each item later so you'll read more about them in the coming posts.

In the Mail Today {04-18-2011}

I stopped by the post office today to check if I have any package there, and to my surprise I got two packages. One was the Neon Purple Glitter Cocktail Ring that I won from Hollyrock's giveaway last March, and the other was a free Educational DVD that I requested. When I arrived at home, I was surprise to see another package for me. I have totally forgotten about it because like the Educational DVD, I requested the cloth patches from a freebie website, and though I know that they are indeed free, most of them works for those living in the US only so yeah, I was happy to see that it really reached me :D Anyways, here are the three packages that I got.

 Sorry for those weird stickers, haha. I placed them there to hide my name, etc :P

First would be the Cloth Patch. It came in a red plastic like paper envelope. I had no idea what it was till I read the instruction it came with.

The second item I got was a DVD titled "Explore the Sea Floor". Its an educational DVD with lots of information and games. Im gonna give it to my little sister so she'll have something to play with :)

And the last one was my prize from Hollyrocks! Its a very cute neon purple ring with lots of glitter, so its just so pretty and sparkly :D

In the Mail Today {03-24-2011}

I woke up to a text on my cellphone saying that I have 3 packs waiting for me at the post office. I had no idea what it was because shipping to the Philippines takes about a month or so that's why I could not anymore keep track of what I'm waiting for :D So yeah I immediately went to the post office to see what's waiting for me. When I arrived, I saw 3 small packs with my name. It say's its from Singapore but there's a stamp saying Hongkong Post or something. I dont know why its like that and I did not bother asking. 

Looking at the three identical small packages I was wondering what the hell could that be? I even thought they were contact lenses but then I could not think of something or someone who would be the reason for contact lenses to be sent to me. To think the packages were marked "electronics". It was only when I opened them did I know what they were. Do you have any idea? Well, here they are :)

 I tried ordering one only but idk why it arrived in three :P Thanks again!

My rhinestones! They were pretty messed up because of the travel I think but I can just sort them out easily :)

 I love its packaging, very cute and easy to open too.

I got my rhinestones from BornPrettyStore :P I've been wanting them for ages and finally they are here, not to mention in 3 packs! Haha I never thought I'd get them. Im still waiting for my Hello Kitty Plate though Im not sure if I made it through the orders. Thanks a lot BornPrettyStore ! Now I can style my nail with rhinestones :)

Primera Technology Inc. Sticker Print Samples

Earlier last week I arrived at home to find a piece of white envelope with my name on it. I asked my mom what it was and she does not know what it is either. So I instantly rushed to where it was and read the label.

 

I really had no idea what it was, where it was form and who sent it because I am waiting for a lot of things to arrive and so I lost track of those I am waiting. So when I opened it, I was shocked to see that they were actually the product samples I requested from Primera Technology Inc. . Actually, I was able to request a sample through a site I just found on google. At first I thought they are giving away printers as the sample but then I realized later that they are giving away sample prints of their printers. I signed up for the samples but I never expected that it will be sent since the site was not familiar to me. What makes it more amazing was that the mail arrived in a week, knowing it was international. Also, it was then that I realized that the unknown number who has been calling me was them.

I took photos of what was inside and I'm gonna put it below. I do not know yet what to do with the samples but for sure I'll be keeping them. I usually keep products I receive from companies as souvenirs because I don't want to damage it by using them.

Overall, I find their gesture very kind as they really sent a sample. Also, I felt very sorry for not answering their call. But then they were also able to contact me via email with regards to their products. I just wish that Primera Technology Inc. will also send me a printer to try out haha :)
