First Impression and Unboxing - SJ400 Air Wifi Action Camera from SJCam

A few days ago I finally received my SJ400 Air Action Camera from SJCam Philippines via Lazada. I got it for Php 2249.00 only. I was actually debating between this and the regular SJ400 Action Camera as the price difference isnt that much but I went for this anyway.

Actual box and the label

On the lower left side are the specifications of the camera for easy checking. The camera claims to be 4K capable with Full HD and with a 2 inch view-able screen. Cool!

The camera itself is housed in a plastic casing and is easily seen when looking at the box. I personally like the simple packaging as it looks classy for me.

On the side of the box you can see whats included in the package: the camera itself, camera waterproof case and some accessories.

To verify the authenticity of the item theres a scratch box on the other side for verification purposes. To download the phone application to be used for the camera, I just scanned the bar code here.

This is where the accessories are. I so love the box and the gold like embossed label for accessories! Nothing special on the inside though, but still A+ for the packaging.

The standard package includes the manual and some stickers, plus the USB cord/wire for charging and for file transfer. Note that theres no plug/adapter included so you have to buy one or just plug through a power bank or computer to charge.

These are the free accessories. I dont really know if I need them but its good to know that I have them for free. I have way more accessories on my Xiaomi YI Cam compared to these, but we will see if I can really use it all.

And the camera! I chose the black color. Matte black I think? Because I love black. Plain and simple. The case is also very nice. It isnt like your generic waterproof casing. I had a hard time opening the case because of its lock feature plus it also is very sturdy, hard and secure in my opinion.

These are the buttons on the right side for navigation purposes on the camera. Can you see the thick border rim on the camera lens part?

Theres the power button in front of the camera.

Theres another button on top of the camera as well for navigation and for taking pictures. And the notorious lock for the case that had me puzzled for a good 5 minutes jsut thinking about how to open the case lol.

On the other side is where the USB slot is, plus another slot for HDMI I think? I kinda forgot sorry.

And of course, the 2 inch screen on the back for viewing whenever you're taking photos, videos or just simply doing a playback of what you've taken so far.

You can connect the camera on to your phone via WIFI for easy navigation specially in taking pictures.

It comes with the manual written in English and other languages, whichever you prefer.

Here's a quick guide for the navigation buttons.

Here's a side by side comparison of my Xiaomi YI Cam and the SJ400 Air Action Camera. Roughly the same sizes and the design, with the excemption of some navigation button placement. I love the quality of my photos on my YI Cam so I hope the SJ400 Air can deliver good results too.

Battery and the SD Card. Battery is free of course but the SD card will be a separate purchase.

The battery packs 900mAh which doesn't seem that much so you might want to consider buying a second battery. I am currently in the hunt for another one to pack just in case.

In the flesh! I really love the matte black design and color.

This is where the battery is placed. Just open the lock and insert the battery.

The SD Card slot is located on the same side as the USB slot too.

I havent used the camera yet due to work schedule but I plan to use it next month on a trip to Bantayan Island. I am really excited about using it and see what the outcome would be, but here's a sample shot that I accidentally have taken while the checking the camera. Not too bad, eh?

Once I can use the camera I will be posting more sample pictures and videos and maybe a review if I am not busy.

Pastels and Prints

Ahhhhhhhhhh. I know the random pattern/prints are trendy these days, and of course I had to jump right into the band wagon and join the club. Hoho. So yeah, meet my phone's Aztec print case/cover. I didn't really choose this particular one, I just had no choice cos its this or nothing O_x . But still, I'm happy that I got this cos its still pretty cool plus it keeps my phone safe cos sometimes it falls off my bed at night when I am sleeping zzzz.

Also, I had on a new color on my nails. I forgot the nail polish color, but it was just a cheap bottle that I got from somewhere I forgot also(boo!) Anyways, I love this shade cos green was my first favorite color. Does this shade pass as a pastel? Im not sure, but it also looks like a shade of mint to me.

xxxxx. Sorry for being MIA for so long. Ive been wanting to go back to writing, but then with the recent calamities that hit out place (earthquake and super typhoon), I wasn't really able to do much yet, except for sleeping and eating and watching the news. Honestly, I was really scared. And with the aftershocks still coming even after a month, and also the 4.5 magnitude earthquake I experienced again last Wednesday, I am really in a state of blankness (if there's such thing). It took me weeks before I was able to go out the house or surf the internet. Hell, I even missed out on the October 22 episode of Pretty Little Liars! (Yup!~, I am pissed.) Also I am pretty much behind The Vampire Diaries eps :(( Really. The calamities have taken its toll on me and my usual internet life lol. But still, I am thankful cos despite everything, we are safe and I think thats all that matters to me now.

Maybe in a few days my life will be back to normal. I am surely hoping xx. And hopefully, the Christmas season will bring hope and happiness to all of us to be once again happy, just like how it was before these tragedies :)

Clipix: Organize Your Life with Style

The moment I have heard about the site, I immediately opened up an account and before I knew it, I was already addicted to it. I love to browse sites and look at photos for inspirations and ideas. Clipix really made it easier for me to track down photos that I want to save. Now, I only have to clip it on my board and I can view it anytime I want, anywhere.

Here's a screenshot of my boards. Currently, I have 6.

Clipix basically changed how I organize photos that I found on the internet. I love doing my nails and I always search the internet for designs. And now that I have clipix, I only have to clip photos I find on the internet and the moment I need to look at designs, I know where to find my collections.

I also love browsing for fashion outfits. I like to take inspirations from bloggers and fashionista worldwide and try to incorporate their fashion ideas in my daily outfits. With clipix, all I have to do is clip a photo that I stumble upon online and when its time for me to look at what I have clipped, I just look at my board and they are all organized there.

Shopping has also been easier because I just clip the stuffs that I am saving as a wish list and when I am ready to make a purchase, I just look at the list of what I have clipped on my Wish List Board.

For those of you who are iPhone users, you can also clip photos using your mobile phone because there's already a Clipix for iPhone App. Great, isn't it?

Clipix is really an easy way to organize files. Since it can be customized, it will be easier for you to remember stuffs. You can add as many boards as you want, and as many clips as you want too. You can also share the fun to your friends by sharing them on your Facebook and Twitter. And there's also an option for you to share your clips to the public or privately, depending on your preference. If you want to know more about this amazing site, then check out this video on Youtube.

So you see, Clipix is more than just clipping and saving photos, but it is also a very great way of organizing your lifestyle and daily routine. I would highly recommend you try and sign up for a Clipix account and for sure, you'll be hooked to it. I am personally enjoying clipping photos that I would want to save for future uses. How about you guys? How are you going to use clipix?

Hello Kitty Visa Card MP3 Player

Finally! I now have a Visa Card :D And its Hello Kitty ^___^ Haha jokes. Nah, seriously.. It really does look like a visa card right? Yep. Or at least to me :)

Taadah~ Hehe The new Hello Kitty Platinum Plus VISA Credit Card :p Hahaha. Kidding aside, its my new MP3 player *_* I was really so happy when I finally received it. Its really super super super cool and cute and kawaii ^^

Its only 2GB but nah, doesn't really matter because its already big for just a few music. And besides, I listen to some songs on repeat so yeah, 2GB is more than enough.

From afar, it really looks like a card because its really slim. But up close you'll see that its a music player after all.

Here you can see the control buttons. There are 4 small buttons, 2 for volume/forward or backward, 1 for pause, play and on/off and the other one is for reset.

And on this side you can see the slot for the headphone. There's also a small hole for accessories/charms on the side :)

The player actually came with a headphone, but ear buds hurt my ears after hours of listening so I bought another one. It's a clip on earphones and it doesn't hurt my ears. I would have preferred a Hello Kitty earphone too, but since I couldn't find one I just settled for this. I used to have one but it was already dead a year ago :|

I also bought a pink strap so that I can hang it like a necklace or an accessory. Its also more convenient because I can use it at ease anytime I want to listen to music.

I bought this one at ebay for a little over $10. I usually don't buy stuffs like this for such a big amount because I find it a waste but since it was Christmas when I purchased this, I figured it would be okay to rewards myself sometimes :D
