Day 1: A Total Inventory of All the Makeup and Makeup Tools You Own

Okay so before I start this post, let me just warn you that you wont be seeing much. As I dont really use a lot of make up and stuffs mainly because I like to keep my face clean. I'm more of an eyeliner - lipstick kind of girl, so that's prolly my most important make up item. But I still buy and use other stuffs, just not that much :P

Anyways, here are a few of my make up and make up tools. Some might be missing cos I think I lost them when we moved. Or my little sister hid them. Again.

As you can see, there's only a few. I dont use that much tools. And most of my items are lip products, cos its what I am really really fond of.

This is all that I've gathered

LIP PRODUCTS
I think this is something that I'll always be guilty of. Its like everytime I see a lippy that looks pretty, I get this feeling that I just have to have it :((. But then I try to restrain myself from buying a lot because I dont want them to waste, seeing that I also dont use them a lot. Idk, I just want to collect.

Top: Wet n Wild Fantasy Makers Lipstick (both are in shades of red but with different names)
Middle (L-R): Elana Minerals Lip Tint, Nyx Round Lipgloss in Apricot and True Red, Sophie Paris Lipstick in Ice Pink, Nichido Matte Lipstick in Love Potion, Maybelline Baby Lips Color in Pink Peony, Maybelline Baby Lips in Oxidizing Berry, Nyx Round Lipstick in Chic, Sophie Paris Lipstick in Cotton Peach
Bottom: Nyx Lip Liner Pencil in Coral, Nyx Long Pencil Lip Liner in Pinky

MAKE UP TOOLS
I am thinking of buying a few products soon, maybe when the weather is good enough for make up not to melt. But for now since its so hot, make up is not an option so I'll just be happy with these tools haha. Also, I have a heated eyelash curler but I cant seem to find it.

Top-Bottom: Something for the eyebrows (idk what its called lol), Real Techniques Brushes

CHEEK PRODUCTS
Aside from the basic eyeliner and lippies, I also love blush on. Though seldom used, from time to time I apply one just to put a little color on my cheeks or for a fresher look.

Top: Pink Powder Blush (forgot the brand), Maybelline Clear Smooth Shine Free Blush in Fresh Coral, Nichido Cheek Tint
Bottom: Avon Face Pearls, Maybelline Cheeky Glow in Fresh Coral

EYE PRODUCTS
Ahhh! Another guilty pleasure. This is more of a collection rather than something that I really need or use. I mean, I would really really love to be able to use them but since I am yet to learn how to apply eyeshadow so these might just have to wait.

Top: Ever Bilena Dual Eyeshadow, Carmela Quad Eyeshadow, Maybelline Eye Studio Lumineyes Shadow
Middle: Sugarpill Cosmetics Pressed Eyeshadow in Afterpart, Tako, Dollipop and Midori
Bottom: BH Cosmetics 88 Color Tropical Matte Eyeshadow Palette, Maybelline Falsies Mascara, Nichido 2-n-1 Mascara, Wet n Wild Eyeliner, Yves Rocher Super Pulp Volumizing Mascara

 FACE PRODUCTS
Sometimes if I dont feel like putting something on my face, all I need is a good moisturizer and Im good to go. The weather doesnt permit me to layer up on foundation and bb cream *sigh*

Top: Wet n Wild Ultimate Sheer Tinted Moisturiser, Foundation (I forgot the brand), Kokuryu Summer Cake Foundation, Myra Face Moisturiser
Bottom: Maybelline Clear Smooth All in One Shine-Free Foundation, Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Cream Stick

I am definitely getting more soon, in the near future. Or maybe when I move out and get a job? Haha. But I am surely going to buy more.

NOTD~ Pink, Purple, Sparkles

July is almost over. Glad that I was able to paint my nails even if I was super busy haha. Today I am going to show my nail art design. Its not that fancy, but better than plain nails, or nothing :)

The result x)

First, I painted my nails with a light pink nail polish. I used something from Etude House. I dont know what's the name of this shade because the label of the bottle is in Korean but there's a number shade for reference and in my searching I think it was referred to as Pinkade. I have already swatched and reviewed this nail polish and you can read about it here. I had about two coats since I find it too sheer for my liking.

With Flash Photography

Under normal lighting the nail polish seems a little darker but its indeed a light one.

Without Flash Photography

 And then I took out my favorite bottle of glitter nail polish. Its from Wet n Wild and the shade is called Hannah Pinktana. You can also see more photos of this nail polish in my review post here. I applied it on top of my pink nails diagonally. This is how it looked like after applying *u*

And for the final touch, I added Flower Lace Nail Stickers on the boundaries of the pink and purple colors. This particular lace sticker is from Born Pretty Store. There are actually 10 pcs in one pack and I decided to use this particular design because I find it fit for this nail art :)

Again, here is the result of my experimental nail art. I think purple and pink blends with each other so I might again use this combination next time.

If you are wondering what products I use, here they are again :)

NOTD: Sparkles and Stones

Its been a while since I last posted an NOTD. I miss the times when I was still super excited and have so much enthusiast on nail art and stuffs. But I dont mean that I am no longer interested in them. Its just that I am super bombarded with stuffs nowadays compared to last year. With work and all, I barely have time to check my nails. And so with every opportunity I get, I try my best to attend to my usual stuffs like blogging and painting my nail :)

So anyways today I am going to show swatches of my new nail polish, as well as an NOTD that I did with it. Remember that pastel pink nail polish that I bought from a Chinese store? Well here it is.

I really thought it was a pastel pink because it was near the pastel blue that I bought. Turns out that its a sheer shade, almost nude. And worse, its got glitters and sparkles inside. Well not really a bad thing but its just disappointment speaking because I was clearly thinking of something else. But never mind, I am not going to make a fuss out of my mistake :p

Its like a peach shade. Or almost nude. Or flesh perhaps? I dont know. All I know is that its not a pastel pink *u*

Under the direct sunlight its barely noticeable. And I hate the sight of my nails naked because I am used to it having wild colors lol :p

But with indoor lighting a pale shade comes out, but still its not that pastel pink I want >_<

And so I decided to play with it a bit. I got my good old bottle of Wet n Wild's Hannah Pinktana, which is by the way one of my favorite nail polishes. I applied one coat on top of that sheer thing and voilah~ a new and better look :)

As I was returning the bottle to my box, I noticed my rhinestones from Born Pretty Store. I still have 2 wheels unused so I decided to use the already opened wheel and added rhinestones to my nails. I was trying to go for something flag inspired but failed miserably so I just started putting random stones on my finger, filling up all the spaces.

Looks weird eh? But definitely cool. Next time I'm going to go for studs haha. Enjoy the rest of the photos :)

Wet n Wild "Teal or No Teal" {Nail Swatch + NOTD}

And I'm back again, haha. I am just going to show to you what I currently have on my nails today. I am not a fan of blue, but I gave this nail polish a try basically because I haven't swatched it yet and I just have to do it lol, so yeah here goes Wet n Wild's Teal or No Teal.

Actually its more of a sea blue or green blue shade. I dont see it is a completely bluish color, so perhaps I like this. Consistency is quite okay, but this nail polish is sheer. I had two coats on my nails and I can still slightly see my nails. But I think two coats is enough, for me at least.

Here are some swatches on my nails, have a look and tell me what you think about this shade. This is by the way one of the Fast Dry Nail Polishes from Wet n Wild, so it dries really fast.

eek, maybe this was out of focus lol.

Haha I am really not good at applying nail polishes >.<

I left it that way because I wanted to do some nail stamping on my nails and I used this as my base nail polish. Stay tuned for my NOTD via stamping in my next post. Hope you enjoyed the swatches :)

Queen of Hearts {NOTD}

Hi guys! Today I want to show to you something that I find really cute.. My nails haha :P Its been a while since I last had glitter nail polishes on my nails. And since I had just bought a bottle of cute glitter polish last time, I decided to paint my nails with it :) Check out my current NOTD in the following pic :)

I am in love with the hearts and the glitters <3

To achieve this cute and sparkly nails, I first painted my nails black. I always have this notion that black will look good on almost anything. It can serve as a backdrop, so if you plan to do something on your nails like 3D nail art, stamping or simple glitters and stuffs, I would highly suggest using black.

The nail polish I am using today is Wet n Wild's Ebony Hates Chris. I am a lover of black but to be honest, this is my only black nail polish :P I would definitely buy another bottle once Im out of this one because its currently my fave [check out my detailed post on this nail polish here]

And for the fun part~ Here's the glitter nail polish that I used. Its pinkish and in the bottle you can actually see the glitters. Ahh so cute ^_^ What caught my attention on this was the hearts floating around. And the pink of course attracted me more hehe. In reality it isn't really pink but colorless, and I am guessing the pink comes from the reflection of the glitters which could be pink foils? Lol haha too much imagination.

And after a coat of the glitters, here are my nails :) It was hard getting the hearts for my nails, especially if you are fishing for it in a sea of glitters. But still I managed, and here it is now.

I am loving this look for my nails as of the moment. I especially love it when it glitters in the sun haha. And mind you, this is very simple and easy to do. Glitters are really fun on the nails, but sadly they are saying that they can also be a pest during nail polish removal. Well, I am going to see that tonight as I will be doing another nail art design on my nails in honor of my birthday on Friday :)

These Roses Died Three Days Since...

I was looking at my black nails today and find them beautiful but too plain, so I decided to do some nail art. My inspiration for this was the song Seven Roses by Chicosci. Although its supposed to be black roses, but since I only have red and yellow flowers so I just chose red. I think it still suits the song because of the black background :)

The design is just simple and common, flowers and rhinestones. Its chic in my opinion but at the same time cool or Gothic or blah, which is my style.

Wet n Wild "Ebony Hates Chris" {Nail Swatch + NOTD}

I love black. That's why I was so happy that I also received a black nail polish from a giveaway that I previously won. Today I am going to show my nails painted with black nail polish from Wet n Wild. This one is called Ebony Hates Chris.

Its a very rich black nail polish which dries pretty fast. Prolly because its from the Fast Dry series? Lol. Although I love how its thick in consistency but it also irritates me because I find it hard to apply because of the thickness, I always end up putting blobs of black nail polish on my nails.

But really, I'm happy to have this in my stash. Black Nail Polishes are a must have in every girl's nail polish collection :)

Wet n Wild "Teal of Fortune" {Nail Swatch + NOTD}

I have finally done my nails today, and I chose to paint them a sparkly bluish green.

Im using Wet n Wild's Teal of Fortune. I'm quite confused with the color as its somewhat blue green in real life, but here it looks more of a blue. And take note, I am not a fan of blue but something about this nail polish made me love it. I guess its because of the glitters. Trust me when I say the glitters look super amazing in reality. It reminds me of disco lights.
