Here's another new product that I have tried from the Team Acney box, and I am so excited to share my first impressions and thoughts about the Rovectin Clean Lotus Water Calming Toner. Is it going to replace my current toner? We will see :) But for now, allow me to share a quick review about this toner.

April Haul - Make up!
Hi everyone! Its almost May 2020 already, can you believe it? Time flies by so fast, and with the quarantine going on, I didn't even realize we're almost halfway through the year! I've been staying at home for a month now, and I have missed out on a lot of things. Yeah, we're talking about food here - milk tea, samgyupsal and Korean barbecue T_T but that's fine. At least my online purchases are arriving!!
So 2 weeks ago, Club Clio Philippines had a 50% off sale at Lazada Philippines. I consider the brand as an expensive one, as opposed to its sister company Peripera (cos I'm broke all the time), but because of the sale I saw on Facebook, I decided to just check it out and see what's for sale.. and ended up with two things haha.
Clio Pro Tinted Veil Blusher 002 Watch Out - ₱650.00 (₱325.00 after sale)
Peripera Ink Airy Velvet 007 Heart Grapefruit - ₱450.00 (₱225.00 after sale)
To give you an idea of my purchases, here's a screenshot from my order. I only paid Php 547.00 for 2 items already! I was so excited, specially with the blush on as this is my first Club Clio item (I have loads of Peripera items already).
I placed the order on April 17 and it was delivered on the 27th of April. Considering the quarantine, I wasn't even expecting for my orders to push through. So now I'm going to show you the 2 items that I got from the sale.
I've always been a fan of the Peripera Inks, and this shade is something that has been in my wish list for a while so when I saw it on sale, I instantly added it to my cart. Its part of the Ink Airy Velvet series and its shade #07.
This blush was actually an impulse buy. I wasn't planning on getting any blush on as I still have my Apieu blush, plus an unopened 4U2 blush on. But the sale price was so enticing I ended up adding this to my cart as well. No regrets though as the blush is so pretty!
Here are more photos of the items, but I will be posting a separate review for each item as soon as I get the chance to test them out. Its a bummer that I can't go to work now due to Corona Virus, so I can't use them yet. But hopefully things will be better soon so we can all go back to what we were doing prior to the quarantine - with extra extra care and precaution of course!
Huge thank you to Lazada and Club Clio for this sale. I hope they'll have another one soon so I can buy the eye-shadow palette, and a couple other Peripera Tints that I have been eyeing for a while :)

REVIEW: Nature Republic Real Gel Tint in Pink
Today I will be reviewing one of the items I got from my South Korea - Nature Republic Real Gel Tint in Pink. I actually bought a couple of this product to give to my friends, and I kept one of the pink ones for myself to try out.
The packaging is very simple and straight to the point. You get the usual tube like packaging with the details written mostly in Korean. This shade is #02 which is pink. This has a very nice scent by the way which reminds me of candies lol.
Its somewhat watery in texture, but this is actually a gel tint. I swatched it on my arm and its not runny, which makes application easy.
I tried washing the stain with water and after a couple of scrubbing, the stain is still somewhat visible. Which is a bit weird as whenever I use this on my lips, I find that the tint doesn't last very long. I'm okay with that as I like to reapply this tint because of the smell and the taste haha.
Since I am using this as a cheek tint instead, here are swatches as to how it looks on my cheeks. Excuse my face lol. This is my bare cheeks.
Since I have oily skin, I have to apply the product 2-3 times and build it up to my desired color. Here it is blended, it isn't too obvious and my phone camera doesn't give it much justice. But I am happy with how it looks like as it gives me just the right amount of subtle pink stain on my cheeks for that natural glow.
I tend to stay away from those pink or striking pink shades as I feel like it doesn't suit my skin tone, but for this product, I like how it stains pink after a couple of hours.
UPDATE: Its been 3 hours since I swatched this on my arm. I've washed my arms a couple of times already with soap and water but look! The pink stain is still visible. Surprisingly, it lasts longer on my arms but when I apply this to my lips, the color doesn't stay on for a long time. I think that's because my lips are pigmented so the tint doesn't stay on for long. Oh well, I'm not bothered as I use this as a cheek tint anyways.

REVIEW: Nature Republic Cranberry Peeling Gel
Hi everyone. Today I will be posting about a peeling gel product. This is from the Korean brand Nature Republic, and its called Cranberry Real Nature Peeling Gel. I got this from a Nature Republic store somewhere near Bukchon Hanok Village in Seoul, Korea summer of 2018. Forgive me as I can't remember the price, but trust me when I say that kbeauty items are really cheaper in South Korea than when purchased elsewhere.
This isn't my first peeling gel product, but I wasn't originally planning to buy this. My cousin who was with me said she loved this product, together with another Nature Republic item. Since it was so affordable, I bought one for myself too. I think there are a lot of variations for the peeling gel, but I chose the cranberry one since this is what she suggested as well.
Details about the product are written on the back, albeit in Korean so I can't really understand, but this is very easy to use so it didn't bother me.
It has a tube packaging, which can be a good thing specially when travelling as its handy and easy to use. I also haven't experienced any spilling incident with this despite the packaging.
Unlike the previous peeling gel that I had, this one is pretty different in the sense that the product is almost white. Actually its very white that I can't even see the tiny beads. I think there's supposed to be beads of some sort in the product, but it isn't so obvious on this one. For me that's a good thing cos that means the product isn't harsh on the skin.
When you apply it to your skin, it slowly becomes liquid-ish, so you just have to continue rubbing and massaging it to your face. I usually do the circular massage style, but you can do whatever you want, however you like it.
Now you can see some sort of "dirt" or "dead skin" piling up, after continuously rubbing and massaging the product to the skin. This has been a subject of debate among beauty bloggers as this was said to be the dead skin cells that were removed from your skin, however others claim that its just the product itself that has dried up, thus forming clumps of white stuff.
As for me, regardless of what this one is, I am happy with the product. After a couple of minutes of massage, I wash my face and the skin would feel soft afterwards. I haven't seen any significant change yet, but overall I am loving the after effect of this product.
Would I repurchase? Probably yes, if its on sale. I am open to try out other brands though. But for now I'll wait till I finish this one big bottle before buying another one.

Apieu Folding Eyebrow Knife
And just like that, we're almost half way through the month of April, and just 2 more weeks left till the enhanced community quarantine is over.. If its not going to be extended. Anyways, today I will show you something that I bought from my last trip to South Korea, which was December of last year.
This is an eyebrow razor of some sort, from one of my favorite brands Apieu. I forgot the price, but this was definitely cheap. To be honest I don't groom my eyebrows, but when I saw these pastel colored tools, I immediately purchased it lol. Plus, I just love Apieu for their cute packaging and affordable items.
This has 2 folding eyebrow knife inside, and the details are written on the back. It says "Made in Korea". Duh. I got this from a shop in Myeongdong so yeah.
I can't read Hangul though, so I'll just put the details on the back of the packaging here for anyone who wants to read them.
And now to spam you with photos of cute pink and yellow pastels.. Pink is one of my favorite colors so I will forgive myself for buying something I might not get to use. Also, I know I am an impulsive buyer, but who can say no to these cute colors?
Since these are fold-able, its perfect for your make up pouch. You can carry it with you wherever you go as its handy and safe too.
Enjoy your Saturday! :)

Fashion 21 Cosmetics - Lazada PH Birthday Haul
Today I'm very excited to share my latest haul from Lazada PH which contains goodies from Fashion 21 Cosmetics! I had these items on my cart for days and finally purchased last March 27 during the Lazada PH Birthday Sale.
Looking at what I actually got, I realized these are eye products lol. So, here's what I got: Fashion 21 Liquid Eyeliner, Fashion 21 Eyelash Curler, Fashion 21 Double Up Mascara and Fashion 21 Auto Eyebrow Pen.
To be honest, I don't really do eye make up and this will be my first time to use a liquid eyeliner. I think I've tried it before but it never really worked because of my hooded eyelids but I have been watching YouTube tutorials so I am hoping it will work out this time.
Items Bought:
- Fashion21 Eyelash Curler - Php 125 (Sale Price (87.50)
- Fashion21 Liquid Eyeliner (Black) - Php 135 (Sale Price Php 94.50)
- Fashion21 Auto Eyebrow Pen (Greyish Brown) - Php 85 (Sale Price Php 59.50)
- Fashion21 Double Up Mascara - Php 239 (Sale Price Php 167.30)
Last year I got the chance to have my lashes permed and it was really pretty but I find it intimidating at times to look at my lashes because it seems so made up as opposed to how my face looked so when I saw that this eyelash curler was on sale, I took the chance and added it to my cart. I haven't tried this brand of curler yet, or any eyelash curler for that matter, but Fashion 21 seems to have an array of great deals and amazing products so I am really looking forward to this.
Since this is my first eyelash curler, I cant compare it but I do love how elegant it looks like, specially with the brand name embossed on the curler.
It also is easy to use and isn't too hard to use or grip. I've tried holding it and its very light weight as well. I guess the body is made of stainless material, so hopefully it won't rust or something.
Now my next purchase is another first for me as well. Although I've been using eyeliner sometimes but its mainly on my lower lash line. What really got me to purchase this ()aside from the sale price lol) were the reviews I have read about it. They say this is water resistant (as on the label duhh) and really lasts for a long time, maybe a day sort off? Amazing! Now the only thing I need to sort out is learning how to apply liquid eyeliner on my upper lash. Cat eyeliner? Pleasseeee.
Im also not an eyebrow type of person but you cant resist a sale when you see one so there you go! Eyebrow pencil in grayish brown? Sold! I've read reviews about this and they were promising. My only problem is that my eyebrows aren't exactly neat and clean since I don't shave them or pluck them (too painful) so I'll see how it goes with this one. I bought this prior to me cutting my hair and coloring it a lighter shade so I don't know if the color will still suit though..
And finally my holy-grail mascara! I've always been with Maybelline for mascaras but when I was searching for alternatives, this came up on the reviews and they were really great so I bought one to test it out. Guess what? It really does wonders. I don't get panda eyes plush washing and removing is a breeze! Not to mention its also long lasting. But what really sold me on this item was the fact that it was so easy to remove and that it doesn't blacken my eye area at the end of the day like most mascara. Now I bought my second bottle specially since the price was too good to resist.
And there you go! Those were the things I purchased from Fashion21 and I am really really excited to try them out. I am just hoping it will work out, specially the eyeliner as I am looking forward to sporting cat eyeliner and puppy eyeliner haha. Now I'm off to go watch more YouTube tutorials. Bye!

REVIEW: Beauty Fix Peel-Off Mask (Oil Control and Detoxify)
Today I will be reviewing an item I just randomly saw at Watson's. I think this is a brand commonly available at Watson's so I am hoping it will be a good one. Lets start!
The product is a peel off face mask from the brand called Beauty Fix. This one is called Beauty Fix Peel Off Mask - Oil Control and Detoxify. I bought this a long time ago and have only remembered about it now so I cant recall details exactly but if I'm not mistaken, this has different variants, I think? And I specifically chose the one that said oil control because I am a walking oil machine factory haha.
The packaging is actually cute because of the shape and the design. Maybe that's why I was enticed to buy it because from afar, it looks pretty nice. The item contains 10g of product and in most cases, if its in a sachet, it usually is good for one use, max 2.
On the back you'll see more information about the item..
Product Description: Beauty Fix Peel Off Mask controls oil and detoxifies skin, removing dead skin, clearing up deep seated dirt and other impurities. Loaded with vitamins and active ingredients that will restore the elasticity of skin and combats acne leaving skin glowing and healthy. Suitable for all type of skin.
Directions for Use:
- Simply cleanse face with warm water then apply Beauty Fix Peel Off Mask generously on the entire face, avoiding hair, eyes, eyebrows and lips.
- Relax and enjoy for up to 20 minutes or until the mask is completely dry. Face will feel tones and tightened.
- Gently peel the mask off upward starting from the chin.
- Use warm water to remove any remaining product.
- For best results, use 2 to 4 times weekly.
Now for those who are conscious about the ingredients, I've listed what's on the back so that you can check if there's anything that wont work for you.
Ingredients: Water, Polyvinyl Alcohol, Pectin, Glycoproteins, Hydrolyzed Rice protein, Apple Extract, Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Titanium Dioxide, Bisabolol, Xathan Gum, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Charcoal Powder DMDM Hydantoin, Parfum
Disclaimer: Now remember earlier when I said I've had this post in my draft for a while? Yes, I guess its evident with the manufacturing date shown below. I know its just a year away from the expiry, seeing how this was manufactured in 2017, but this blog post is actually long overdue. I've had the content sitting in my drafts for years haha. So yes, I have already sued the item a long time ago, the photos are even from 2 years ago but I only got the chance to finalize the content and post it today, hence the discrepancy with the dates.
It says exclusively distributed by Watson's, so it must be one of those brands that you can only get from Watson's. I know they have plenty of brands under their name so its a bit hard to choose which one to buy..
Now the product comes off as grayish in color, hmm charcoal perhaps? I quite like masks with charcoal because I feel like it can really clean my face after. Isn't that what the charcoal ingredient/variant in most beauty product is for?
Now when you apply it to your face, it also comes off as gray in color! I think the peel off mask from Megan or even the ones from Daiso are a bit darker and more black compared to this. Not that it makes any difference but just for color reference if it helps..
I don't have any photo of the mask when removed because that could be gross but I knew for a fact that I never bought this item again. Why/ I feel like it didn't work for me as a peel off mask. Maybe in cleaning my face yes, but the oil control part? Nope. I remember I was on the quest for the best peel off mask that can really help me specially when it comes to whiteheads and blackheads and I was trying this that. On the contrary, this item never claims to remove whitehead so maybe I was wrong in choosing this item for that sole reason. But still, I didn't see any major difference. It might be good to use once a month, but as a staple in my routine? I think no.
