Fun Filled Family Bonding with Kool-Aid

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Kool Aid. All opinions are 100% mine.

One of my most favorite time of the year is Christmas, primarily because this is the time when my family is complete. I don't have much memories with my family these past few years, but I do recall some of the best days of my life during my childhood years.

I could still remember way back then when we would go out every Sunday to have our typical family bonding. We would usually go to the park and bring along food for us to eat. We would then gather around the picnic blanket and get hold of our glasses of delicious Kool-Aid drink. It also comes in many flavors, my favorite of which are Strawberry and Orange. Other flavors include Grapes, Cherry, Apple and many more.

Aside from outing, my family also love to spend our nights together at home, watching our favorite TV shows or playing board games while sipping on our favorite juice drink. Indeed, this juice drink has contributed a lot of fun and happy memories to me and my family. We would never miss drinking it every time we bond as a family. We also serve this to our visitors and they too love it!

If you check out Kool-Aid's Facebook page, you can find there the tab "Noches de PeliKoola" which contains a schedule of upcoming Sunday movie nights that you can enjoy with family and friends. You can also download movie specific bingo cards that you can play with while watching some cool movies, and of course while enjoying a cold glass of Kool-Aid drink. Now aside from these free stuffs, you can also download a coupon from there and use it. Now that is something.

Kool-Aid is more than just a juice drink. You can visit Kraft's website and browse through their Kool-Aid recipes and create a new and exciting drink.

Chic Nail Polish Haul

I totally told myself no more buying of nail polishes until I have finished all that I have (which I doubt I can do, haha), so I was totally happy when my cousin bought these nail polishes x_^. Hehe I didn't actually buy it lol so I think its okay ;P I just can't get enough of nail polishes, especially if I see a shade I really like, I will buy it without thinking twice (is it bad?). But on the other hand, I only buy something that is cheap,

4 bottles

I actually forgot the names of these shades, so I'll just have to describe them the best that I can. Okay so first is this glitter nail polish with stars. It looks somewhat blue form the bottle, maybe because of the color of the glitters inside but in reality I think its just a colorless nail polish. And yes, the stars are pretty adorable ^_^

This nail polish is a light pink shade, and I don't like it because its too "wet" in my opinion making it sheer. It took me three coats just to make the color show, and its still not enough. I just stopped on the 3rd coat because I don't want to overdo it. Although the shade is pretty, but the consistency is what disappointed me.

I really don't wear this shades because for me they are a bit dull and boring, but this red glittery nail polish is actually very pretty in my opinion. I just applied one coat on my nails and its already done! Pretty amazing huh? I also like how it appears to be shiny and glittery, just so nice.

Nail Swatch, one on each nail because I can't be bothered to do all :P

Circle Lens Review: Tricolor Green (CM903) from ANGELIC RAIN

Today I'm going to review a lens from the Berry Cessy Tricolor Series. This is my very first green lens, and the first too with this style (the tri color thing, etc hehe). I got this lens from Angelic Rain as they have kindly sponsored me a pair.

I'm not really into colors like these as I would have preferred something gray or brownish but I felt like I have to try out other lens style, thus the tricolor thing.

In this series, there are 5 available colors. I would have gone for the gray or brown but decided to get the green one for a change.

Shipping was just like the usual, because its international. But this time it took longer than expected because there was something wrong with the system, so I got my lens after a month or so. Hmmm not the shop's fault anyway so I don't mind. Okay anyways on to the lens and my review...

My Review

I forgot to take a photo of the packaging because I was super excited to receive them, so I ripped off the package right away ^_~. But I did take not of it; the lenses were securely wrapped inside using bubble wrap, plus the paper used has a pad of bubble wrap too, so I'm pretty sure the lens will be secured and will not be damaged along the way. When I opened it up, here's what I saw.

I really like the design on the lens too ^^

One thing that surprised me was that I think my eyes look slightly bigger than the other when I tried the lens on one eye only. Although I know that this is a 14mm lens, still I felt an enlargement ^_O, which I dont really mind (and I'm happy about the effect). Check out photos below to see what I meant.

L with lens, R without lens || Without Flash Photography || No Make-up

As you can see, the enlargement is not that obvious, and I think its because of the design on the lens which makes my eyes appear bigger than the usual. Also I think if I wear this lens alone without anything, I could look weird or something. So what I did was just apply a little make-up on my eyes to tone it down a bit and I liked the result because now I looked human :D

See what I mean with toning down the look of the lens with a little eye make-up? Haha sorry I'm no pro when it comes to make-up, that's the best I could do. And I think it turned out pretty well, what do you think?

The photo on the website is actually a lighter shade of green, but when I wore the lens it looked liked a darker green. Maybe its because I got brown eyes, and so brown plus light green results to a darker green? Hehe I'm not sure, but I think that's what happens. The lens has a yellowish color towards the inner part, but it is not that obvious when worn because I think the yellow color has blended perfectly with my brown eyes, thus you can only see the greenish color. I like how the lens don't have that dark outer ring, which makes it look natural in terms of design. As for the color, it would be obvious that I'm wearing a contact lens because most Asians (if not all) have brown or black eyes.

Now it would be cool if this was my natural eye color ^_~

Even from afar the color shows and its very pretty! I feel like Im European or something. Hmmm wait do people from Europe have these eye color? Lol haha

I tried capturing a photo and turned it into black and white. Even in BnW mode, the lens design is still very obvious.

And here's one with the original color of the lens. Scary? O_O

To sum it all up, I am very happy and satisfied with the product, especially with the customer service of the shop. I had no problems whatsoever with their staff as they were very kind and nice to talk with. As for the lens, I am satisfied with it too. I had no problems or trouble while wearing it as it was very comfortable, and super nice ^_^

Ratings
Comfort       (4/5)       - No eye related problems while wearing the lens.
Design        (5/5)        - I love its natural-ish design, blends well with my eyes.
Color        ♪    (4/5)        - Although the color appears darker when worn, I still love it.
Price             (4/5)        - It might be expensive, but its really worth the price you're paying.
Overall    ♪♪♪♪     (17/20)    - I'm very much happy and satisfied with this product.

I'd definitely recommend this lens for those who are looking for something new and different (in my case it is, since my eyes are naturally brown and having them go green is totally new). So if you like this lens, you can purchase it at Angelic Rain for only $20. You'll also get a free lens case with every purchase :) Now how cool is that?

The lenses I had in this post were provided by Angelic Rain. Though this is a sponsored post, all opinions stated here are mine and are 100% honest.

Parfum van Holland

I know nothing about these parfum, except that they are from Holland. Im not sure about the brands, I think these are brandless though coz I've seen similar perfumes like this in Singapore. Anyways, I'll just show to you the three bottles that I got from a cousin who visited Holland. The first bottle is mine, I got it first and it really smells good <3

Simple bottle, but the scent is awesome!

Cute chubby bottle :D

Aido Classic Make-up Kit; Eyeshadow and Blusher Swatches

I was looking through my mother's stuff when I found this black case somewhere. Its got a very nice design, and the label read Aido Classic make-up Kit. To be honest, I've never heard of this brand, though its manufactured locally here in the Philippines. I guess this is an old brand or something coz I didn't find that much information on the internet too.

The brand is hard to read, but it says Aido Classic Make-up Kit

Back printing, its a local product =)

When I opened it, I was shocked. I totally forgot that this is a kit, thus it has a blusher and eyeshadow. The kit also contained two brushes, one for the blush and the other for the eyeshadow. Its got a pretty decent mirror too, which is big enough to look at when applying make-up.

Blusher on the left, Eyeshadows on the right

For blush-on...

7 eyeshadow colors =)

I also took shots of each colors so that you can have a look at each individual shade. You can check them out below. There was no names for the shades, so I might just describe them as to how I see them haha.

I think this is coral-ish, or maybe orange?

This one is a pink shade, but somehow it comes out as a soft red. This is my favorite one.

Violet, White, Yellow

Light Brown, Dark Brown, Marroon (?), Black

With flash

I also made some swatches on my hand to see how they would appear when applied.

All 7 colors of the eyeshadow

Overall, I like all the colors. For me its a nice make-up kit because it has both blusher and eyeshadow. I think this one is a cheap product which could have been discontinued. But I am glad I found this one because I really love the case and the mirror =)
