Just Bead It! Keyring (First Impressions/Product Review)

Im a sucker for all things cute and kawaii, and upon seeing these really cute items from Just Bead It, I decided that I need one in my life. If you live in Australia, then you might have heard of this online shop already. But no worries, Ill go ahead and introduce the shop and the owner beforehand :)

The shop is owned by Michelle Sommerville , who I shall say is very kind and accommodating.  I got the package very fast (International Shipping) and was shipped and packed carefully. The item was definitely secure and safe!

And here's what I got! Haha. Its really really super cute. And its green too. The design is that of an alien, which is really cool. I love how sturdy the product is. It had me wondering how it was made because I was really amazed just by looking at this cutie.

The size of the product was also perfect. It fits in my hand but its not too big. Just the right size for a key ring. And since I dont want to damage my new key ring, I decided to hang it on my backpack instead. Now I have a cute bag tag hanging on my backpack. Perfect!

Now aside from the product itself, there were a bunch of stuff included in the package as well. The owner really did a good job of preparing her items because she even included an iron paper for product maintenance. Yey. But Im pretty sure it wont come in handy yet because I am making sure this little alien here is safe. But if ever something bad happens to it, like it does break off, then putting it back to place will not be a problem anymore.

Have I mentioned how amazing the seller is? She even included a small letter in the parcel, which is very nice. I had no idea that the product is waterproof too, but reading it on the note she included I was once again amazed with the product. Plus, a step by step guide on how to fix the item if ever it does break is also included. Nice customer service I should say :)

Need I say more? I guarantee that this item will be favorite in no time at all. It makes me want to get more designs :3 Not to mention the items are very very affordable. And when I say affordable, I mean it. You be the judge. For the price that you'll be paying, you'll get more than what you paid for because of the quality, uniqueness and amazing customer service.

Now before you hop over to check out her designs I'd like to point out something very important for me, as well as for International buyers as well. I live in the Philippines, and our post sucks. It would usually take a month for any international package to reach me. Plus, I need to get it from our local post office and pay $2-$3 for tax. So imagine my shock when I arrived home from work late night and saw a parcel from Australia! It took only 2 weeks (more or less) and it was delivered to my house (I didnt even pay for any tax!). Im not really sure what happened or what postage the seller used, but I am really really happy with this service. It is really value for money at its absolute best.

Review: Silk Secrets Alo Vera Oil Control Sheet

I have oily face almost all the time, so when I checked my nearest Watson's shop to buy blotting paper, I got curious about this product. I normally go for the Clean and Clear Blotting Paper, but this one is cheaper (and Im a sucker for cheap things hoho). SO I decided to try it out. Plus its got aloe vera, which I think is good for the skin. Or hair haha.

Its really really cheap, like less than $1 (Php 35.00 more or less), and its got 100 sheets already! I bought this almost a month ago and I still have a lot! 

The packaging itself is really simple and cool. Its in green, which of course is Aloe Vera. It comes in the generic paper style packaging with a locking thingy, so you can easily keep it back in place without having the contents of the product going loose. Its easy to carry and its also small in size, perfect for carrying anytime anywhere.

WHAT IT DOES:

• Removes oil and dirt from skin
• Keeps your face shine-free
• Soft and gentle
• So handy, you can use it anytime, anywhere to freshen up

MY REVIEW:

- very thin
- easily tears up (I once rubbed it on my face a tad to hard and it tore easily)

The product itself does its job of removing oil on my face. But, since I have been using the Clean and Clear one, I can definitely spot the difference between the two. But for the price I paid, plus the Aloe Vera, I can say that this product is worth the money I paid for. Although I cant really say that much about the Aloe Vera on the product, but Im just so happy that I got a cheaper blotting paper that does the job as it is.

Review: Sophie Lipstick in Ice Pink (SLPK01)

The weather's pretty gloomy these past few weeks. I have a feeling another typhoon is coming :3 So today I decided to do a review of one of my lip products, the Sophie Lipstick in Ice Pink. Ive had this item for a year or two I guess, so now I can properly give it a review :)

The packaging is very cute and simple. Its a black tube with floral prints and the company logo printed in pink! Yay.

I really loved the floral designs on the tube. Pink and black is really a very good color combination on beauty products because I feel like they entice more people to buy them because of cuteness overload.

I bought this lipstick at a very affordable price, more or less $2. I think there are 3 or 4 more shades in this line, and I got this shade which is called Ice Pink and another one called Cotton Peach.

Also printed on the tube is the expiry date of the product which is on 2015. I think its also important that expiry dates be printed on any beauty products because we would know when to throw away products that are no longer suitable for use. I always check for labels and ingredients of products I use too.

The color name really suits this lipstick because its a pretty Ice Pink in shade. I think this color became a trend in the last 2 years? I remember seeing this lipstick color being worn all over beauty bloglandia and I was dying to try it also. Perhaps that was one of the reasons why I got this haha. This lipstick has a matte finish, so if you wanted something that is not sticky like lipglosses, then you should give this a try. But the downside of it is that I find it a little hard to apply because of its consistency. So it would help if you apply lip balm on your lips first for the lipstick to glide on smoothly.

But the good thing is that this lipstick surprisingly lasts longer. I guess we all have to thank its matte consistency as being the reason why it does not come of easily, even when I was eating and drinking.

And now here is a photo comparison of the lipstick when worn. Its really a vibrant pink, but when light shines on it (like camera flash) it somewhat turns into a purplish pink. Or something purple-ish. Still, its a pretty color I must say.

And lastly, here is a #shamelessselfie, as what its called on instagram. Hehe :P Overall, I dont think this color is a good match for me for daily use. Although I would use it for parties or night out or special occasion, just not for daily use because I find it too flashy for my liking.
