REVIEW: Rovectin Deep Moisture UV Protector with SPF 50+

The weather's been too hot lately, and so I've been using sunblock quite a lot than usual. Today I will be sharing a new sunblock product that I had recently started using. This one is called Deep Moisture UV Protector with SPF 50+ from the Korean Brand Rovectin.

PACKAGING:

The product packaging is very simple. The product comes in a white tube container and has very pleasing colors. It's very simple yet classy and easy to read. I love how sleek the packaging is, despite it being the usual tube type container. Although it may not be as hygienic as those that comes in bottle but this is still pretty handy. The product has 50mL content by the way which should be enough for about a month of usage.

MY PERSONAL REVIEW:

This is my first time to use this sunblock brand, however I have been using
Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Sunscreen for years because I find that it works well with my oily skin. Upon opening the product, it doesn't have any smell, or maybe it has but it's very faint and barely noticeable. The product itself is white in color and isn't watery. When I applied it to my skin, I find that it is not as easy to blend and apply as the Biore sunblock. Although I was able to still blend it in the end, but the application itself took a bit more of effort perhaps due to the consistency of this sunblock.

Another thing that I've noticed is that the product took a while to settle, which means you might end up with white face for the first couple of minutes. It did settle after a while so it's still okay. But I feel like with this kind of sunblock, you'll get white cast in flash photos just like the photo above. It is worth noting that it does give my skin that healthy look and glow, so my skin feels moisturized with this sunblock, which is a plus!

Overall, this is an okay alternative for me mainly because of the SPF 50+ plus the added moisture property of this sunblock. With too much heat, sometimes it can cause the skin to be dry so I'm happy to take this product which not only protects from the sun but also keeps my skin moisturize.
