Breast Cancer Awareness Bracelet

Last October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Many bloggers from all over the world showed their support by holding a giveaway. I was lucky enough to win in one of the giveaways that I joined.

I was chosen as the lucky winner of Dragonfly Kisses Jewelry's Breast Cancer Awareness Giveaway. And after a month, my prize finally arrived in the mail.

Its a very pretty pink beaded bracelet with cute charms hanging. One was a pink symbol of Fight Breast Cancer, while the other was a tag that says "Hope".

I feel so blessed and happy to be part of this whole event, although I did not host a giveaway, still I won something that's from the event.

Flower Boy Ramen Shop / 꽃미남 라면가게 / Kkotminam Ramyeongage

After watching Pure Love, I have struggled to find a new Korean drama to watch. And now finally, the wait is over because Flower Boy Ramen Shop has started airing in South Korea. Yaaaay~ Haha I have been waiting for this drama because it stars my newest crush Jung Il Woo, a.k.a. scheduler from the drama series Pure Love. Like I said, it has just started airing and currently there are 4 episodes out. It sucks to wait for a week for two episodes to be available because this drama is shown only every Mondays and Tuesdays. Nah but its okay because its just so worth the wait. I'm loving it already. Although I must admit I dont like the lead girl that much, but as the story unfolds I find the two of them so cute I couldn't wait for a new episode every week. Grrr.

About the drama, I already said that I am already loving Chi Soo and Eun Bi's love team. But then I just so hate the other girl So Yi, she's such a bitch haha. If only I could stab her lol. And oh, another cute thing here is Kim Ba Ool, so cute lah :p

Enough with my rants, I'll just show to you some screen caps I made with Jung Il Woo, along with a few information about this drama ^_^ I hope you watch it because it is really funny and wonderful, trust me :)

Plot:

Cha Chi-Soo (Jeong Il-Woo) is the only son for a family that owns Korea's largest food conglomerate named Chasung. Chi-Soo comes back from New York without telling his father. He looks for a place that his father would not know about, but it isn't easy to hide from his dad. Chi-Soo hears that one of his friends works a part-time job in the Norangjin area. When he arrives there he is followed by people who works for his father. Chi-Soo rushes into the restroom, but in there is Yang Eun-Bi (Lee Chung-Ah). Eventually, Chi-Soo goes home to talk with his father. He persuades his father not to send him back to America and in return Chi-Soo promises to go back to school. 

Yang Eun-Bi (Lee Chung-Ah) is 25-years-old and a senior in college studying physical education. She believes that teaching is the best type of job to have. You don't have to worry about getting fired and it's popular with guys. To become a teacher Yang Eun-Bi studies for the teacher certification examination in the Norangjin area. One day, she stops by to see a fortune teller (Kim Hye-Soo). While getting her fortune read she picks out a card with the fate bell ring and kissing. Meanwhile, she goes to the restroom and suddenly Chi-Soo rushes into the restroom. Eun-Bi hears bells ringing, but she already has a boyfriend who is about to be discharged from the army. They met the day before he joined the army and she has waited for him faithfully for 2 years. Yang Eun-Bi tries not to think about the man she met in the restroom. 

On the day of her boyfriend's discharge, Eun-Bi goes to see him, but he has already left. The next day, Eun-Bi goes to school. At the university festival that is occurring that day Eun-Bi sees the guy from the bathroom at the festival. Eun-Bi assumes Chi-Soo is a student at her university. Suddenly, Eun-Bi also sees her boyfriend and one of her schoolmates together. Eun-Bi becomes enraged and throws a water ballon at them. Eun-Bi then walks away and gets into a car which Chi-Soo is in. She pleads with him to drive. After driving away, Chi-Soo parks his car and Eun-Bi begins to cry. Chi-Soo tells her that he doesn't like women crying and lets her get out of his car. 

Eun-Bi decides to focus on becoming a teacher and meeting a good guy. On the way to a teaching session at a high school run by food company Chasung, she meets Chi-Soo again. Eun-Bi assumes Chi-Soo works for the company. She then almost falls down in front of a passing car when Chi-Soo saves her. Eun-Bi, believing he might be the good guy in her future, asks Chi-Soo to date her. Then Eun-Bi sees a bunch of guys wearing the same uniform as Chi-Soo and realizes he is a high school student at the same school where she will intern as a teacher ...

Ultra Bright Keychain LED Flashlight Torch from Born Pretty Store

I am a self confessed addict to Born Pretty Store. I have been constantly buying stuffs from them, mostly nail art and make up stuffs. Its actually very small but do not underestimate. You'll know why later ^_^. Aside from being a little flashlight, its also a key chain. So this would be perfect for carrying around, lets say hanging on your bags. I placed it on my bag already. Now I have something to light my way when I'm going home at night.

The switch to the flash light can be found at the back, which is turned on by toggling a switch. I think this is easier than pushing a button. With a switch, you can have the light turned on for as long as you like and just turn it off by toggling the switch again.

Here's how the bulb or LED looked like. Its located at the bottom of the flash light. And did you happen to see that circle sticker on the middle? Yup, its a sticker which you can easily remove and replace. So in other words, this item can also be used as a giveaway gift or promotional gift to corporate events or any other events. Just create a sticker, have it customized and stick it on the center! Easy to do and its also very practical.

There are three colors available for this product: Blue, Black and Gray. They sent me a blue one which is very nice in shade :)

And now for something that I told you on the earlier part of this post, do not underestimate this item because it might be small but it gives off a very bright light :) Yay~ I tried it on and here's 2 photos that I took.

Nichido Minerals Precise Liner in Black Product Review

Watching youtube vids made me want to try out lining my upper lash line. My most favorite style is the wing style. But the only problem is that I can't seem to do it using my pencil liner, or maybe its just the noob in me who cant do it lol. So I decided to buy another eyeliner. I was battling between a gel or a liquid one, but since I am still practicing I just choose a liquid eyeliner because in my opinion its good for practicing. I knew I could get a cheaper one too, but nah I don't want to sacrifice quality for price. So I ended up purchasing the Nichido Minerals Precise Liner in Black. Its actually affordable, but not something I can call cheap haha. If I'm not mistaken this was sold for something like $3-$4 in my local mall.

Packaging says its long lasting and waterproof, plus does not transfer. Hmmm I am yet to comment on toss points. Read below for my review...

The eyeliner has a felt tip pen which is actually nice for the first usage. But the thing with felt tips is that they tend to loose their strength, and eventually lose the thin pointed end too. So after a month of using or something, you could be left with a useless thick pointed brush which I reckon will not be good for creating wings and etc. But this I must say will still depend on the usage and how you use it.

Packaging

I love its sparkly bottle container. It isn't dull to look at because of the glitters on the black body. It's also got a long brush handle which makes it easier to hold and apply to the lashes.

Its also very thin and lightweight, so you can just carry it around with you anytime, no hassle or bulging in your purse or bags.

Anyways, here are some noobie photos of me wearing the eyeliner on my lashes. Please excuse my face, lol. And I am only wearing the eyeliner on my upper lash while I used my pencil liner on my lower lash line, nothing else. No make-up, mascara or falsies, just the eyeliner :)

My Review

I had an easy time applying the eyeliner on my eyes. I didn't encounter any problems or whatsoever because it was very easy to use.

Product says its long lasting, but not for more than 8 hours or so. I also tried removing it with water to test if its really waterproof. And although it wasn't easily removed, I cannot fully trust it to be waterproof. After scrubbing water on my hand I finally got rid of it. Maybe for a slight drizzle this won't be a problem. But for heavy rains, I think the eyeliner might be removed.

So I guess its still a pretty good liner, and for the price I paid its worth it. Though I might not be repurchasing this again if I find a better brand or a cheaper one. And there's still the gel liner that I wanted to try and venture out. Overall I'd give this eyeliner a 3 out of 5.

November Wish List {Beauty Products Edition}

Its almost Christmas, so I am now in the process of listing stuffs that I want to get. Though I am totally broke, it doesn't hurt to have a few things from time to time. And though this is just purely a list of what items I want to have, I really want to have all the items in my November Wish List Beauty Products Edition :)

Garnier Light Milky Lightening Dew - I have read good reviews about this product so I really wanted to try it too. Plus, I dont have a toner right now that I really want so it might be good to try other products.

Etude House Happy Tea Time Cleanser - I first had a glimpse of Etude House in SM Cebu and I was shocked at how expensive their items are. And from them on I vowed never to go inside just so I wouldn't be tempted. But then seeing bloggers blog about this product so many times I decided to give it a try. And now I couldn't wait till I get the chance to go to Etude House this weekend to buy it since its very cheap only (well, at least i can afford to lose a few $$$) haha.

Dolly Wink Eyeliner - I know this is a must have for every girl. Dolly Wink is a necessity, and I feel like I'm the only one who doesnt have it lol. Its quite expensive and I cant splurge on one single item for that price. And even though I know I can find a good deal on ebay, I'm still thinking about it. Hmmm.

Liole BB Cream - I haven't had much luck with BB creams, except for the Missha ones. Im going to put the blame on our country's hot climate. But seeing this again on most korean youtube gurus, I have decided that I wanted to try this one too.

Tony Moly Lip Tint - Im not really sure how this is going to be used, but I have also decided I am going to get this. Haha I was mainly influenced by a photo of this with Geum Jan Di as the endorser. It says she used this in her kdrama Boys Over Flowers, so yeah Im gonna buy it too :P




That's all for now I think. I have to remember I am broke, so I should not wish for too much if I know I cant buy it. It might just break my heart. Haha. But I'll continue to update this post if I find something again that I want to share =)
