Circle Lens Review: Tricolor Green (CM903) from ANGELIC RAIN

Today I'm going to review a lens from the Berry Cessy Tricolor Series. This is my very first green lens, and the first too with this style (the tri color thing, etc hehe). I got this lens from Angelic Rain as they have kindly sponsored me a pair.

I'm not really into colors like these as I would have preferred something gray or brownish but I felt like I have to try out other lens style, thus the tricolor thing.

In this series, there are 5 available colors. I would have gone for the gray or brown but decided to get the green one for a change.

Shipping was just like the usual, because its international. But this time it took longer than expected because there was something wrong with the system, so I got my lens after a month or so. Hmmm not the shop's fault anyway so I don't mind. Okay anyways on to the lens and my review...

My Review

I forgot to take a photo of the packaging because I was super excited to receive them, so I ripped off the package right away ^_~. But I did take not of it; the lenses were securely wrapped inside using bubble wrap, plus the paper used has a pad of bubble wrap too, so I'm pretty sure the lens will be secured and will not be damaged along the way. When I opened it up, here's what I saw.

I really like the design on the lens too ^^

One thing that surprised me was that I think my eyes look slightly bigger than the other when I tried the lens on one eye only. Although I know that this is a 14mm lens, still I felt an enlargement ^_O, which I dont really mind (and I'm happy about the effect). Check out photos below to see what I meant.

As you can see, the enlargement is not that obvious, and I think its because of the design on the lens which makes my eyes appear bigger than the usual. Also I think if I wear this lens alone without anything, I could look weird or something. So what I did was just apply a little make-up on my eyes to tone it down a bit and I liked the result because now I looked human :D

See what I mean with toning down the look of the lens with a little eye make-up? Haha sorry I'm no pro when it comes to make-up, that's the best I could do. And I think it turned out pretty well, what do you think?

The photo on the website is actually a lighter shade of green, but when I wore the lens it looked liked a darker green. Maybe its because I got brown eyes, and so brown plus light green results to a darker green? Hehe I'm not sure, but I think that's what happens. The lens has a yellowish color towards the inner part, but it is not that obvious when worn because I think the yellow color has blended perfectly with my brown eyes, thus you can only see the greenish color. I like how the lens don't have that dark outer ring, which makes it look natural in terms of design. As for the color, it would be obvious that I'm wearing a contact lens because most Asians (if not all) have brown or black eyes.

Now it would be cool if this was my natural eye color ^_~

Even from afar the color shows and its very pretty! I feel like Im European or something. Hmmm wait do people from Europe have these eye color? Lol haha

I tried capturing a photo and turned it into black and white. Even in BnW mode, the lens design is still very obvious.

And here's one with the original color of the lens. Scary? O_O

To sum it all up, I am very happy and satisfied with the product, especially with the customer service of the shop. I had no problems whatsoever with their staff as they were very kind and nice to talk with. As for the lens, I am satisfied with it too. I had no problems or trouble while wearing it as it was very comfortable, and super nice ^_^

Color        ♪    (4/5)        - Although the color appears darker when worn, I still love it.

I'd definitely recommend this lens for those who are looking for something new and different (in my case it is, since my eyes are naturally brown and having them go green is totally new). So if you like this lens, you can purchase it at Angelic Rain for only $20. You'll also get a free lens case with every purchase :) Now how cool is that?

The lenses I had in this post were provided by Angelic Rain. Though this is a sponsored post, all opinions stated here are mine and are 100% honest.
