Review: Luxe Organix Intensive Whitening Underarm Cream with 10% Niacinamide

So late last year I have been obsessed with Luxe Organix and have been using this brand for my hair and body care. I think I've posted quite a few times about this brand on my blog, and today I'm gonna be posting a review about another Luxe Organix product - the Intensive Whitening Underarm Cream with 10% Niacinamide.

I've had this is my wish list (a.k.a. Shopee cart haha) for months, but didn't really plan on buying it since it was a bit pricey for me at Php 299.00 for 30g of product. But then earlier this year I suddenly wanted to splurge on my underarms, hence the Diode Laser sessions I bought from Skin Station, and now this whitening cream. Since I wanted a new me lol, I dropped by my local Watsons store and finally bought one.

 

Product Description

• With potent formulation of Niacinamide to lighten skin
• Repair the skin barrier giving underarms a smooth feel
• With Licorice Extract to help soothe irritation and redness - With arbutin to help reduce hyperpigmentation
• May also be used on the inner thigh and targeted areas like knees and elbows

Ingredients

 How to Use

• Place a small amount on the targeted area and gently spread until the product is fully absorbed.

I only apply this at night after washing my underarms with a gentle cleanser. Now here's a photo of my underarms before using the product. Please excuse the underarm hair, I didn't shave or pluck them as I am currently undergoing Diode Laser Underarm so as much as possible, I don't wanna touch anything and only let the laser do its job in terms of getting rid of the hair.

I try to use it religiously at night but sometimes I tend to get lazy and forget to apply. Now I'll show some photos to compare if there's progress and if its working.

March 18, 2021

Here's a comparison of my underarms within 3 weeks. I didn't edit the photo apart from the collage and the watermarks. Photos were taken in my room without flash, and there could be differences due to lighting and time of when photos were taken but these are definitely raw photos. I guess its still too early to say if it has lightened.

April 26, 2021

Here's an updated photo taken today, more than 4 weeks from the photos above. I haven't been using this daily so there might be minimal to no change, but this is what my underarms look like as of today. I've just had my 3rd session of Diode Laser on my underarms 2 weeks ago so there's less hair this time.

I found a photo of my underarms from way back January when I still didn't use any underarm whitening cream versus my current underarms as of April 2021. Both photos were taken with flash, although there might be differences with the lighting as these were taken at different locations and time. I'm not so sure if there's a noticeable difference after 4 months (I started using the whitening cream sometime in February and it wasn't a daily thing) but I somehow feel that the dark areas form the left photos have somewhat lighten a bit on the right side?

Overall, I am really very happy with the result and will continuously use the item and try my best to use it religiously everyday for a better result. Repurchase? It's still too early to say but I am satisfied so far with the product and the result. I will decide if I will repurchase this product once I consume this bottle. I am currently eyeing a different whitening product which is relatively cheaper and might switch to that if the results are not that impressive after one bottle of this Luxe Organix Underarm Whitening Cream.
