Review: Deonat Natural Mineral Deodorant

Today's post will be a review about the deodorant that I'm currently using and loving - the Deonat Natural Mineral Deodorant. There are different variants of this product but the one that I'm specifically using us the blue one with "tawas". Before, I was using different products like Nivea, Dove and Avon deo for my underarm, but early this year I've switched to Deonat and I am so happy with my decision.

Deonat reminds me of those old school tawas that our parents used from years back. When you look at the product itself, it really looks like the stone tawas, but with a holder so its easier to use.

Product Description
  • Made from ammonium alum (tawas) and natural mineral salts, it provides an all-day protection against sweat and odor-causing bacteria.
  • It is non-sticky, non-staining, and leaves no white residue while allowing the skin to function naturally without clogging.
  • No color and preservatives added. Antibacterial. Alcohol, Paraben, and Aluminum Chlorohydrate-free.
How to Use
  • Wet the top of DeoNat with water and apply to clean underarms after shower.

Please excuse my underarms on this photo, its been weeks since my last Diode underarm laser and the hair is starting to grow back. Also my underarms are somewhat uneven in color with dark patches and rough texture which I am trying to lighten with the help of the Luxe Organix Underarm Whitening Cream - please read my review and thoughts about this product here.

As per instruction, you have to make sure that the top part of the deo is wet, or in my case I apply the deo right after I step out from the shower. If you use the product when its dry, it is a little bit hard to apply because of the friction between the product and the underarm skin so water helps with the smooth application. Also it would seem like there is no product applied on your skin afterwards but trust me, it works with body odor. I bought one for my teenage sister and after using it once, she went around saying she doesn't smell anymore haha.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a more natural alternative to deodorant. It costs less than Php 200.00 and I reckon this might last me months or maybe a year, we'll see. But it is really a good buy and a must try, and you can easily get it from Watsons or SM Stores and of course - Shopee and Lazada.
